FIA WTCR 2022: Race of Alsace Grandest

The 2022 FIA World Touring Car Cup has returned to France in a brand new location, the Anneau du Rhin, for the first-ever Race of Alsace Grandest, as the drivers are trying to master the twists and turns of this new battleground while battling the competition on the road to victory lane.

Beginning in the first race, Nathanael Berthon claimed his first WTCR win of the year after an intense clash against Nestor Girolami. In the second race, meanwhile, Rob Huff kept his cool and survived all the way towards victory lane, beating the likes of Mehdi Bennani.

After Alsace Grandest, Mikel Azcona remains in the lead with 241 points, 35 points ahead of Girolami, while Huff's in 3rd with 187 points, In the team standings, meanwhile, the BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse remains in the lead with 368 points.

NTT IndyCar Series 2022 - Big Machine Music City

The streets of Nashville, Tennessee, became a high-speed battleground for IndyCar's finest with the Big Machine Music City. Despite being interrupted by the lightning hold and the women's open final round because it's running long, that didn't stop them from delivering the most intense race in Music City.

As the green flag waved, the action in Music City is on, and for the second year in a row, Colton Herta got clipped to the wall while Alexander Rossi got spun and triggered a full course yellow. If that wasn't enough, Graham Rahal, Pato O Ward, and Dalton Kellett were part of a seven-car-disaster that forced them out of the race. As the climax draws near, the fight between the two Scotts, Dixon vs. McLaughlin, became too close to call.

In the end, Scott Dixon wins the Big Machine Music City of the NTT IndyCar Series. With his 53rd career win, Dixon surpassed Mario Andretti for the 2nd most wins in IndyCar history. McLaughlin finished 2nd and Alex Palou finished 3rd.

With only two races left this season, Will Power and Scott Dixon had a 6-point gap between them, 450 vs 444, in the championship standings.

The next race is the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 in World Wide Technology Raceway this August 20.

2022 NASCAR Cup Series - FireKeepers Casino 400

It's the first Sunday of August and as the end of summer draws near, the NASCAR Cup Series has stormed Michigan for the FireKeepers Casino 400 as the drivers are feeling the heat from the intense oval racing action near Motor City.

As the green flag waved, the action in Motor City has begun with Christian Bell scoring a Stage 1 win. Come Stage 2, the #41 car's day in Motor City was roasted and wasted while Denny Hamlin nailed this stage. As the finale kicks in, all bets are off.

In the end, Kevin Harvick wins the FireKeepers Casino 400 of the NASCAR Cup Series!

The next race is at Richmond Raceway for the Federated Auto Parts 400 this August 14th.

2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship - IMSA Fastlane SportsCar Weekend

Back as a multi-class endurance race, the IMSA Fastlane SportsCar Weekend event of the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in Road America delivered a scorching race weekend at the heart of Wisconsin's Elkhart Lake as the drivers are going all-out to survive all the way towards victory lane.

The #10 Acura ARX-05 Konica Minolta of Ricky Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque is named the winner of the IMSA Fastlane SportsCar Weekend while the #18 ERA Motorsport wins the LMP2 class, #74 Riley Motorsports in the LMP3 class, #14 Lexus RC F GT3 Vasser Sullivan for the GTD Pro class, and the#57 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO Winward Racing for the GTD class.

The next race is at VIRginia International Raceway for the MICHELIN GT Challenge at VIR this August 26-28.

WRC 2022: Secto Rally Finland

The WRC 2022 season continues with the Secto Rally Finland as the drivers are surviving through the Scandinavian scorcher by all means necessary.

Kalle Rovanpera edges out Esapekka Lappi in the shakedown test but it was Ott Tanak who is taking the early lead in Finnish dirt during the opening stages. As the weather gets wet, Tanak is still going on strong and stayed all the way to victory lane.

Tanak wins the Secto Rally Finland at the rate of 2:24:04.6, 6.8 seconds ahead of Kalle Rovanpera, while Lappi finished 3rd.

The next event of the WRC 2022 season will be the Ypres Rally Belgium this August 18-21.

Autobacs Super GT 2022 Series Round 4

As summer draws to its close, the 100-lap race in Fuji Speedway of the Autobacs Super GT 2022 Series has shifted into high gear as drivers are going all-out to survive this 100-lap speed-fest, by all means necessary.

After a 100-lap thriller in Fuji, the #37 KeePer TOM'S GR Supra is named the winner of the race while the #12 Calsonic IMPUL Z finished 2nd and the #24 Realize corporation ADVAN Z finished 3rd. In the GT300 class, meanwhile, the #61 SUBARU BRZ R&D SPORT is the winner while the #11 GAINER TANAX GT-R finished 2nd and the #18 UPGARAGE NSX GT3 finished 3rd.

The next race will be at Suzuka Circuit this August 28.

2022 Formula DRIFT Pro Championship - Throwdown

The Pacific Northwest is the next stop of this season's Formula DRIFT Pro Championship with Throwdown at the Evergreen Speedway. In the midst of the heat advisory, nothing's hotter than intense drifting action that burns the Washington State down than a sizzling heat wave.

Matt Field and Chelsea Denofa made themselves to the finals and their final round duel became too close to call for the audiences to decide who wins the Throwdown. After an intense drift showdown, the judges have decided. It's Chelsea Denofa who wins the Throwdown while Matt Field is in 2nd place. Chris Forsberg is in 3rd place.

The next round will be at Grantsville, Utah, this September 15-17.
