F1 2022: AWS Grand Prix du Canada

Circuit de Gilles Villeneuve is the next stop of the F1 22 season with the AWS Grand Prix du Canada. Father's Day couldn't get even more exciting than this intense racing action in the heart of Montreal.

As the lights went off, the battle royale in Montreal is on with Kevin Magnussen experiencing problems with the front wing following an opening lap clash with Lewis Hamilton, therefore resulting in him going to the pits. Meanwhile, Sergio Perez was pulled out of the race following gearbox failures that triggered a virtual safety car. As the race resumed with Verstappen going all out, Lap 20 saw Mick Schumacher out of the race. Halfway through the race, Verstappen tries to outgun Hamilton in the lead until Lap 49 saw Yuki Tsunoda crashing to the wall and therefore out of the race. As the climax draws near, Verstappen got what he wants; a lead.
