ABB FIA Formula E S8 - Jakarta ePrix

After two years, Formula E returns to Asia but this time, they're racing in a brand-new location which is located in one of the biggest countries in Southeast Asia; Indonesia. Specifically, the soon-to-be-outgoing capital of Indonesia, Jakarta.

With the lights out, the inaugural Jakarta e-Prix is on with Andre Lotterer forcing his way past Nyck De Vries until an incident triggered a safety car. It's bad luck and the end of the road for Oliver Rowland. As the race resumed, Mitch Evans is charging through while the DS TECHEETAH drivers lock their brakes up in the middle of the race. With the ATTACK MODE engaged, Jean-Eric Vergne became the first to unleash it in Jakarta. With seven and a half minutes left, Nyck De Vries threw in the towel while Andre Lotterer was slapped with a five-second penalty following contact with De Vries. As the race reached its final lap, it was an all-out fight to the finish.
