NTT IndyCar Series 2022 - INDY 500

The greatest spectacle in racing, the INDY 500, is part of what is known to be the loudest race weekend of the year and its 2022 outing as part of the current season of the NTT IndyCar Series is no exception.

The INDY 500 kicked off with the front row starter Rinus Veekay out of the race following a crash in turn 2. As the race resumed, Conor Daly surges back to the lead. Halfway through the race, Scott Dixon is in the lead while Conor Daly and Pato O'Ward's catching up. Moments later, rookie driver Callum Ilott's first INDY 500 outing ended in a crash while Romain Grosjean's out of the race as well. With 133 laps passed, Scott Dixon remains in the lead while Colton Herta threw in the towel due to mechanical failure as well as Scott McLaughlin following a crash. Following a pit lane speed violation, Scott Dixon was slapped with a penalty, costing his Indy 500 win, but it could be worse as Jimmie Johnson got involved in a horrifying crash that triggered a red flag as the race nears its end.

After a chaotic 200-lap thriller, Marcus Ericsson got his face immortalized at the Borg-Warner Trophy as he won this year's INDY 500. Pato O'Ward finished 2nd and Tony Kanaan finished 3rd.

This is the end of this year's INDY 500 but the 2022 NTT IndyCar Series goes on as the next race will be the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by LEAR this June 3-4.

F1 2022: Grand Prix de Monaco

The Monaco Grand Prix of the F1 22 season should have been as loud as the loudest race weekend of the year, a race but rainy conditions and red flags cut this race short.

Come Lap 30, Mick Schumacher was involved in a terrifying crash that triggered a red flag. As the race resumed, the race became a 30-minute timed race due to inclement weather and the drivers are going for broke before the time is up.

In the end, Sergio Perez of Red Bull won the Monaco Grand Prix while Carlos Sainz finished 2nd and Max Verstappen finished 3rd. Other finishers include Charles Leclerc, Geroge Russell, Lando Norris, Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas, and Sebastian Vettel.

Top Gun: Maverick

After a two-year COVID delay, the long-awaited sequel to the iconic action movie that stars Tom Cruise as a fighter pilot has finally soared into theaters, in time before the summer starts.

Top Gun: Maverick
Top Gun: Maverick

Top Gun: Maverick is the long-awaited sequel to one of the most iconic action movies in ages. Cruise reprises the role of Pete Mitchell, TAC Name: Maverick, as he's training a detachment of graduates for a specialized mission that will push them to the limit. With the fateful encounter of pilots named Rooster and Goose, Maverick prepares for the ultimate mission of his life.

The Tomcats and Hornets have finally soared into theaters after a two-year delay that shocked fans of the classic Top Gun movie into waiting. Now that it's here, this is something those who've watched the first Top Gun movie won't have their word on it. Like the first one, Top Gun: Maverick lets the jets do the talking more than the actors in this movie because the sky is their stage and the jets are the stars of the film, not the actors themselves. Although more flying than dogfights, which is a bit of a drama for this sequel, it's more than enough to deliver the closure Top Gun needs.

Whether you are familiar with the original Top Gun movie or not, the sequel is a must-watch, especially for those who want to be like Maverick and the other Top Gun pilots. It's great to be back in the danger zone for one last time.
