Winners of the 2022 KCA

The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards returns for the year 2022 with iCarly stars Miranda Cosgrove and Rob Gronkowski hosting this year's awards. It's packed with numerous performances, special guests, and of course, SLIME! Not just any slime because Miranda and Gronk are aiming for 1000 slimes in this year's show and they did it, spectacularly.

2022 NASCAR Cup Series - Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400

The 2022 NASCAR Cup Series continues in Martinsville Speedway for the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400.

As the green flag waved, the nighttime action in Martinsville has begun. As Chase Elliott won Stages 1 and 2, a surprising achievement for some who led the first 185 laps at Martinsville, the final stage turned this orderly night race into utter chaos with Martin Truex Jr. facing a bad day and then an anti-climactic caution that triggered overtime.

After a night fight in Martinsville, William Byron wins the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400 of the NASCAR Cup Series!

The next race is at Bristol Motor Speedway for the Food City Dirt Race on the 17th of April, Easter Sunday, 2022.

2022 Repco Supercars Championship - Beaurepaires Melbourne 400

After a two-year absence due to the pandemic, the Albert Park in Melbourne's back to its fighting form as the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship continues for the Beaurepaires Melbourne 400, a 4-part race weekend set before the big return of Formula 1's Australian Grand Prix.

Sadly, only those who were inside the track for Supercars action have witnessed it because due to international broadcast rights associated with the F1 2022's Australian Grand Prix, their usual highlights and live video coverage of the Repco Supercars Championship events are not available.

Here's the summary of the four-part action in Albert Park, moments before the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix kicks off; Chaz Mostert won Races 6 and 9 while Shane Van Gisbergen won Races 7 and 8.

After Melbourne, SVG leads with 803 points, 148 points ahead of Anton de Pasquale.

The next event is the Bunnings Trade Perth SuperNight from April 30th to May 1st, 2022.

2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship - Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach

The streets of Long Beach, California, come to life, again, with the sounds of screeching tires coming out from the IMSA race cars as the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach event kicked off the week of Easter with intense street racing action strong enough to rattle the entire East Coast.

The #1 Cadillac Racing DPi pulled an impressive feat no IMSA racing team saw it coming. Started first, dropped last in the middle of the race, and clawed its way back to the top, this impossible feat saw the #1 Cadillac Racing DPi emerge as the winner of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. Meanwhile, the #3 Corvette Racing C8.R GTD won the PRO Class while the #1 Paul Miller Racing M4 GT3 won the GTD class.

The next race is at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for the Hyundai Monterey Sports Car Championship presented by Motul from April 29th to May 1st, 2022.

- Western officials said that a Russian general with experience from Syria is in charge of Moscow's operations in Ukraine. Fresh offenses in the south and east of Ukraine are expected sooner than later.

- Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said that if he's ousted from power, he will not accept an "imported government". He said this ahead of a no-confidence vote in parliament in the coming hours which he is expected to lose. Khan said he's the victim of the conspiracy orchestrated by the United States.

- Campaigning for the first round of the French presidential election has ended with President Emmanuel Macron and far-right candidate Marine Le Pen being favorable candidates.

- Saudi Arabia will allow up to one million people to participate in the Hajj pilgrimage this July.

- Discovery bought WarnerMedia for $40 billion. The new Warner Bros-Discovery conglomerate will begin trading this Monday.

- A certain report revealed that last month's TOEI Animation hack was caused by a ransomware attack.

Sonic The Hedgehog's back for another movie after his controversial but cool Hollywood debut two years ago and this time, he's not alone. His best friend Tails and his arch-rival Knuckles are joining the fun in this sequel to this controversial Hollywood live-action movie adaptation of one of the greatest video game franchises in the world.

With Ben Schwartz reprising his voice of Sonic as well as Jim Carrey returning for the role of the evil Dr. Eggman, this sequel to the live-action Hollywood movie adaptation that resulted in mixed results and comments saw our favorite blue hedgehog ready for another adventure. With Dr. Eggman teaming up with Knuckles the Echidna, who is controversially voiced by Luther actor Idris Elba, in search for the Chaos Emerald, Sonic teams up with his best friend Miles "Tails" Prowler to put a stop to Dr. Eggman's latest plot to take over the world, whatever it takes.

Yes, you have pointed out the main problem with the sequel because...Knuckles. You know that Knuckles should have talked like the video games but no. At least they got Tails right. Anyway, leaving aside the producers' questionable choice of putting Idris Elba in the role of Sonic's rival character, the sequel is two times the action, two times the comedy, and two times the confusion, whatever that is. Despite the confusion, at least it's not as cheesy as it looks and feels because it's still a must-watch for the whole family especially those who are fans of the Sonic franchise. Still, in the end, at least you have a lot of explanation to do, telling just how good Sonic's latest adventure is.

Despite the things that went wrong with this film...sorry, Uncharted. This belongs to Sonic now. A sequel to the movie adaptation of one of the all-time video game greats is starting to pack some heat and looks like this movie's on the roll, like it or not.
