Welcome Back: 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV

WHOOOOAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

The Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV, this supercar, no wait, hypercar, is as wonderful as the president of the country where its made.

LP670-4 SV served as the "last special edition" of the Murcielago before production of the Murcielago, as well as its legendary V12 engine traced back to the Miura, ended in 2010, ending its decade-run tenure and the introduction of its replacement, the Aventador, in 2011. The 6.5L V12 engine was improved to produce 670PS of power. It is limited to 350 cars worldwide and costs 450,000 US Dollars. However, only 186 models were built before the factory has to be reserved for Aventador production. In 2010, there was a China Limited Edition launched exclusively in China that comes with the same specs but with a middle stripe on it.

In Top Gear, Richard Hammond flies to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to drive the Murcielago SV but it lost to a drag race against the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 at the streets of Abu Dhabi. With The Stig, the SV lapped the Top Gear Test Track in 1:19, as fast as the Ferrari Enzo.

This car was featured on Jeremy Clarkson's DVD, Duel, for the WHAT IS THE BEST CAR FOR DRIFTING segment. In the APPLE ON THE APEX APPLE ON THE EXIT test, the Murcielago SV failed.

Anyway, even its death in 2010, the Murcielago remains one of the all-time supercar or hypercar greats.

SCION FR-S

2013 Scion FR-S

*The TOYOTA 86 is sold as the SCION FR-S in North America

Inspired from the 2009 FT-86 Concept at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show and this is Toyota's first sports coupe in collaboration with Subaru, welcome to the dawn of the new Toyota as we know it today. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the new SCION FR-S. A sportscar unlike any other.

The FR-S name is somewhat more like the deceased Toyota MR-S but the M letter has been replaced by the letter F. True to its name, this is an FR sports coupe. The exterior design of the FR-S is heavily inspired from the two FT-86 Concept cars, one by Tokyo and one from last year's Geneva. This provides a menacing appearance up close and personal and a prolific rear view, making this a very unique sportscar that was started as a concept and turned into a reality. On the side view, you can expect seeing the "86" logo with some pistons on it, which makes it also unique to the eyes of car enthusiasts.

Inside the FR-S, it's all business for the driver. The interior is just focused solely to be more race-inspired rather than being too comfy. If you look closely at the instrumental panel, you should notice that the tachometer looks somewhat similar to the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG but who cares? That instrument panel is a genuine "FR-S" trademark on it. Because this car's interior is not focused on being luxurious, the driver doesn't bother at all because he was surely focused for some thriller at Laguna Seca, Indianapolis, Road America, Road Atlanta, or Infineon Raceway.

Now, we're into the performance zone. Under the hood, the FR-S is equipped with a new 2.0L D-4S BOXER engine, which is a joint venture between Toyota and Subaru, and they called it FA20. The new FA20 engine develops 200PS of power and 205Nm of torque. It promises about combined MPG from 25 to 28. There are two transmission types available such as a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed Paddle Shit transmission. Those who are looking for some hardcore fun should prefer the 6-speed manual transmission because it completes the 86's characteristics. While the FR-S may not be the fastest, it excels in handling because of the sport-tuned suspension system. If the driver switches to Sport Mode, that sharpens the throttle response and handling, making this 86 a hoodlum you won't escape.

Is the FR-S safe? Well, yes because Toyota added some safety features to the 86, which makes it hard to explain what are those, such as the Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control, Limited Slip Differential, and six airbags. Uh, why I am explaining about the 86's safety? I don't need it because I always want to turn the traction control off and get this car to drive more dangerously if you're on Mt. Haruna.

Colors available on the FR-S are Raven, Asphalt, Ultramarine, Firestorm, Hot Lava, Argento, and Whiteout.

My comment:
Even with the Stateside name, the Scion FR-S brings the sport back to the car. This car was priced competitively to its rival, the 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. This would be the most interesting must-have for a Scion fan.

Why don't we have Twin Ring Motegi on Gran Turiismo 5?

TWIN RING MOTEGI?!!!

The Twin Ring Motegi (in East Section version) showed up in the final round of the Nissan GT Academy 2012. That served as the benchmark of who will make it to the Top 32. It kinda reminds me of something, WHY DON'T WE HAVE TWIN RING MOTEGI ON GRAN TURISMO 5?! That would be proper comedy. Ah yes, Twin Ring Motegi on GT5, I hope.

If that Nissan GT Academy 2012 is over, I sure hope that Gran Turismo 5 will bring back the Twin Ring Motegi as a DLC and I hope for them to bring new cars soon!

Let's Do The News! (June 11, 2012)

And now, the news! So, have you guys watched the Canadian GP race? Guess what? Lewis Hamilton won the race!

(audience applause)

Wow! Amazing!

Splendid work, Mr. Hamilton! Which means...

Which means what?

WELCOME TO THE SOCIETY OF SEVEN! HA HA HA!

(applause and laughter)

What Society of Seven?

Society of Seven. Earlier, we have Jenson Button, Alonso, Rosberg, S Vettel, Maldonado, and Webber taking turns of who's the victor and now we have Lewis Hamilton from McLaren-Mercedes who won the Canadian GP. That makes it Society of Seven!

(audience laughing)

Oh really?

Yes, and if a different F1 driver comes victorious in June 24's Europe GP race, we shall call it the SOCIETY OF EIGHT!

(audience laughing)

I never realized that this F1 2012 season is come bashing with alternate F1 drivers. I wonder who's next?

I don't know...

(audience laughing)

Well, see you on June 24 and we'll see who's next or which of these seven will be at it again...

Right. So moving on...Have you seen the Super GT race in Sepang, Malaysia?

No I'm not.

I'm not. I was in Anime Festival Asia Malaysia.

(laughing)

But don't worry because the folks at the Good Smile Company booth did featured a live streaming of the Sepang Super GT race, that's all. They've all been rooting for that Hatsune Miku Z4 GT3.

And how was it?

Not good...

(awwww)

The winner on the Sepang Super GT race, in the GT500 category was the wider HSV-010 driven by Takashi Kogure and Carlo Van Dam. In the GT300 race, the Hankook Porsche 911 GT3 R, driven by Masami Kageyama and Tomonobu Fujii, won that.

Uh, yeah. Most of us talked about that.

Right.

So um...How was the AFA MY experience?

Smooth and silk....It was fine. Those Malaysian otakus, it seems that their enthusiasm were fueled on that kind of event. It was incredible.

Can't believe he got a chance to visit Malaysia for some anime otaku convention.

You couldn't go. You have a choice. Go to Malaysia for some anime otaku or go to Canada for some F1 and you chose the F1 race.

Uh, what's that I'm not hearing?

Do you know what I'm hearing?

Oh yes! The NBA!

What?

Those hopeless Miami Heat, even when coached by a Filipino named Erik Spolstera, they kicked Boston Celtics' butt and advanced to the final to take down the Oklahoma City Thunder this week.

Yeah, this week. If you live in Asia, that's June 13 but if you're Stateside, June 12 (6:00PM PT 9:00PM ET)

Anyone favor for Miami Heat to win? Anybody?

(audience raising hands)

Just a few! Few!

Few people favored of Heat kicking Thunder's butt.

And anyone favored that Oklahoma City will shove down Miami's throat at the finals?

(audience raising hands)

Yay! Most of the people favored to have Oklahoma City shove down Miami's throat!

(applause and laughter)

(Whisper)Lebron James is useless...Dwayne Wade's rubbish...everyone at Miami Heat's rubbish...

Uh, I think I'm still in favor of Miami Heat to win. I had high hopes because of that Filipino coach, Spolstera, to manage the team.

Uh, pal, anyone who supports Heat is a bit too rubbish. This isn't democracy, it's a dictatorship and I'm dictating that Thunder will prevail over Heat this Wednesday/Tuesday!

(laughing)

Now yesterday that Manny Pacquiao, our favorite boxer of all time, was unexpectedly EXTERMINATED by Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley while we watched the fight.

Yeah, absolutely that most of the Manny Pacquiao fans club, which is a provision of Manny Pacquiao fans worldwide, have gone enraged.

Even some of the people say "I'M GOING TO SEND TOP RANK AND E-MAIL AND I DON'T CARE IF THEY DON'T READ IT!!!"

(audience laughing)

Uh, guys. Still could be worse. Gets physical. Here's someone say "IF I SEE TIMOTHY BRADLEY IN THE STREETS, I WILL POO MY HAND AND THROW IT AT IT!!!"

(audience laughing)

Well poo it to someone else's house! It's not that hard! It's like an assassination plot, when you encounter a red laser beam and a few seconds later, BANG!

(audience laughing)

Well, guess what? Someone at the birthday party singing something that clears everything up...

My heart is sore
My Manny Pacquiao is no more
It was a fight against Bradley
in Las Vegas
And now those Top Rank wazzocks
favored that Tim Bradley won the fight
I hate Timothy Bradley
And everyone from Top Rank Promotions
But mainly Timothy Bradley
I want my Manny Pacquiao back

(audience laughing)

Well, how was it? Terrible remarks?

Yeah, terrible. That girl really hate Tim Bradley and everyone from Top Rank Promotions but mainly Bradley. He he he

(audience laughing)

Uh, enough with that whole story um...past is past. So, I just picked up a message saying that after the success of the Anime Festival Asia Malaysia that they said they will be going to Indonesia this September 1 to 2. This is not a joke, this is the REAL DEAL. More updates coming at the official AFA Facebook page. Fingers crossed you otakus in Indonesia because you might be hoping that this day will come.

(wow)

Anyway, can I just say that I saw something internet that there was a 2nd Lexus LFA arrived in the Philippines  courtesy of some SMUGGLER in Quezon City! You wouldn't guess what? There was a smuggled red LFA roaming around the Metro!

(audience laughing)

Wait, smuggled? What?

You know, Lexus Manila obtained a white Lexus LFA and it was not for sale and for display purposes only but how come someone SMUGGLED a red Lexus LFA? Wouldn't you believe that?! SOMEONE...SMUGGLED THE LEXUS LFA!!! COLORED RED!!!!

(laughing)

To all of you in the Philippines, if you spotted a red Lexus LFA showboating around the streets of Metro Manila, better call the Bureau of Customs to report it and find someone responsible of smuggling a Lexus LFA.

Yeah, good luck finding that! Ha ha ha!

(laughing)

Idiot smugglers. I can see why SMUGGLING IS MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES...

Um...May I interrupt, it appears someone smuggled a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe...

A 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe was smuggled by
someone in the Philippines

Wha....DAMN! DAMN THOSE SMUGGLERS!!!

(laughing)

It seems that Philippines can't stop smuggling almost everything! The Bureau of Customs are now weak at stopping them. Can't believe that those smugglers have gone even more mental than ever. Remember the news when former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo crushed several smuggled cars? Yep, you heard that right. The government crushed the smuggled cars.

Can't believe it! Hyundai Asia Resources, act quickly. Please bring the 2013 Santa Fe to the Philippines before those idiotic smugglers rushed to get one!

(laughing)

This is just unbelievable...I can see now the reason about HARI not bringing the Veloster to the Philippines fueled several smugglers to smuggle the Veloster. It's like what some smugglers from Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia want to smuggle a Toyota Vellfire because they want to. I want to be a Customs chief to stop this smuggling trend.

(laughing)

..And that's the news. Thank You and if you see a red Lexus LFA in Manila, call the Bureau of Customs to report it.

Welcome Back: 2011 BMW Z4 sDrive35is

This game, Forza Motorsport 4, is the natural home of the quad-cam 84-litre carnivores. From the Murcielago to the Raptor, they have them all. They even have keepers to tame them, Forza Motorsport 4 is JURASSIC PARK but no dinosaurs involved and I'm in a middle of a spring watch...

Z34 and E89 doing jurassic practices

The BMW Z4 E89 is the latest incarnation of the Z4. The first generation BMW Z4 was in a form of a soft-top roadster but this second-generation Z4, launched at the 2009 NAIAS in Detroit, is now a hard-top roadster. It was built in Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany.

Unlike the old Z4, it is 148mm longer, 9mm wider, 2.5mm in wheelbase and it's 150 to 235kg heavier. The retractable hardtop can be folded up or down in 20 seconds.

The Z4 sDrive 35i has a new 7-speed double-clutch transmission. Models like the 23i and the 30i comes with a six-speed AT with Steptronic. Most models have 6MT standard.

Seen here is the sDrive35is model of the Z4 E89, it has a twin-turbocharged N54B30 engine that produces 340PS of power and 450Nm of torque. It comes with an M Sports Package including M Aerodynamics Package and adaptive M Suspension featuring electronically controlled dampers.

Jeremy Clarkson reviewed the BMW Z4 E89 on Top Gear alongside the Nissan 370Z (Fairlady Z Z34). With The Stig, it set a lap time of 1.28.2, slower than the Nissan Z34.

It was featured on Richard Hammond's Top Gear Uncovered DVD as part of a lesson on how to make a Top Gear Road Test. It even have a drag race against a jet-powered RC toy car and the Z4 won against the RC toy car, which ended up exploded the Vauxhall Omega, the Top Gear training car.

Welcome Back: 2008 Ferrari 430 Scuderia

Scud Rocking good times...

This is Ferrari's answer to the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. It's called the Ferrari 430 Scuderia.

Ferrari's 430 Scuderia is a hardcore lightweight version of the Ferrari F430. It was revealed by Michael Schumacher at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show and it was made to compete against lightweight versions such, even the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. It lost 100kg of weight and the V8 engine now produces 515PS of power. The Scuderia comes with a semi-automatic transmission called Superfast2 that has faster shift time of 60 milliseconds. 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds and it has a top speed of 198mph.

Jeremy Clarkson reviewed this in one episode of Top Gear and thanks to The Stig, the Scuderia set a lap time of 1:19.7, faster than the SLR McLaren.

In Clarkson's DVD, Thriller, the Scuderia is faster than the Gallardo Superleggera round the Snetterton Track courtesy of The Stig, who was very angry when Jeremy Clarkson blew him up in a dynamite powered Mercedes.

This car is listed as a unicorn car. How do you get it? I'm afraid you have to find out to yourself....

Welcome Back: 2009 Ford Focus RS

Sadly, we don't have to hear any more of that because we have to head back playing Forza Motorsport 4. And this...

Sure, the McLaren can kick the Focus RS's but on the track
but what about on a public road?!

It's a 2009 Ford Focus RS. It has a 2.5L turbocharged 5-cylinder engine that produces three times more than what you got from the old VW Rabbit GTi. You can't just send 300HP to the front because it might come off but Focus RS has a special suspension feature called "Revo-Knuckles". How does Revo-Knuckles work? Set aside, call James May and serve some tea because...just like Jeremy Clarkson, I don't know how does Revo-Knuckles feel like on the 2009 Ford Focus RS.

Whatever. The Revo-Knuckles allows the 2009 Ford Focus RS to handle the bends and sling shot its way down the next straight although it's been powered by ammo-nitrate. There are some people say that there are so many opponents that can match the RS’s competence on track or its fun-to-drive factor. I may have said that once but is it true?

Contrary, that car appeared in one episode of Top Gear against the Renault Megane R26.R, a stripped-up version of the Renault Megane which Forza 4 doesn't have one. The Focus RS lapped the Top Gear test track in 1.29.3 but it was beaten by the Renault Megane R26.R's 1.28.1 lap time.

Then, this car was featured on Jeremy Clarkson's DVD, Duel. He had a race against The Stig and the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder round the Ascari Race Resort and then the Focus RS lost by a mega huge margin. Not only that, gets worse. The Focus RS lost the race from Ascari Race Resort to a bar in Puerto Banus.

Despite that, the 2009 Ford Focus RS is a brilliant hot hatch but that's all it is...
