Tongue Tarang Tongue for 12-08-10 (and Melai's tips to avoid being snatched during Christmas shopping)

Here's the Tongue Tarang Tongue from the December 8 episode of Banana Split:

Pinoy: Ang laki ng chips
Spanish: Nachong Macho

Pinoy: Nilait
Japanese: Kinucha

Pinoy: Nagbabasa ng pabaliktad
Spanish: Atras abante

Pinoy: Naglalasing
Japanese: Tumotoma

Pinoy: Erich Gonzales
Spanish: Katorse

Pinoy: Asong nagkakakalkal
Japanese: Hokkai-dog

Pinoy: Pampatuan
Spanish: Di inosente

Pinoy: Maraming nainom
Japanese: Yamoshasumuka

Oh, and I almost forgot, for those who don't want to get snatched by snatchers during Christmas shopping times, our favorite problem solver, Melai Cantiveros, is here for top 5 tips in M3: Melai Mo Magwork

5. Place a dumbbell on your bag so when snatched, the snatcher can't escape due to the dumbbell's weight!

4. Wear pocket-less pants and hide your wallet on a secret pocket

3. Your jewelries and accessories can be placed at your dog so the dog will scare the snatcher!

2. Dress yourself in reverse!

1. Add an alarm on your bag (but not a wang-wang!)

Rally-ready Megane RS a go!

2010 Renault Megane RS

I love the new Renault Sport Megane since I tried it on Forza Motorsport 3 as one of the DLC cars from the past (and now included in the Forza 3 Ultimate Collection) because of its technology inspired from the Formula One. It seems that the Renault Sport Megane takes on a new role as the tarmac rally package, known as the Renault Sport Megane N4, has just been fleshed out.

2010 Renault Megane RS N4

With pricing remains unknown, the Renault Sport Megane has everything made for tarmac rally purposes only!

It seems that somebody playing Forza 3 are trying to replicate the design of the Megane RS N4 and take it for a virtual spin! Good luck replicating your Megane RS on Forza 3! Hope I'll check if this one is on the storefront...

In partial terms of "Omotenashi"

Omotenashi, Japanese for hospitality, is the main concept of the new Nissan Teana J32. Since the Nissan Teana debuted in the Philippines since the PIMS 2010, the word "omotenashi" has been spread for those who want to take a glimpse on this new premium midsize sedan.

Now, according to an article from Top Gear Philippines, Nissan Motor Philippines, Inc. debuted a 3.5L V6 version of the Nissan Teana, and the pricing is just under the 2 million peso mark due to the JPEPA partnership. How's that for the word Omotenashi?

Most people looking for fuel efficiency can go for the 2.5L variant but for those looking for more of a "Brougham VIP", can go for the 3.5L variant. See if they care...

Your Tongue Tarang Tongue for 12-06-10

Here's the Tongue Tarang Tongue joke from the December 6 episode of ABS-CBN's Banana Split;

Pinoy: Madumi
Spanish: Duminador! Duminador!

Pinoy: Nakaka-umay
Japanese: Kami Sawa

Pinoy: Padala ni Mister
Spanish: Door to Door!

Pinoy: Matakaw
Japanese: Mashiba

Pinoy: Mabilisan lang
Spanish: Panandale! Panandale!

Pinoy: Matanda na
Japanese: Mahonda

Pinoy: Hinalikan ang boy
Spanish: Besame Muchacho

Pinoy: Maraming mga Lolo at Lola
Japanese: Gurami-Rami

Too darn funny. Like Ted (Jason Francisco) licked the wrong one (thought it was liver spread, but it was poop!) on The Amazing Microwave Pandesal Rangers, or Rizza Masahista (RR Enriquez) bringing in her duplicate copy of Rizza herself!

SM5 V6 2.5!

On December 3, 2010, Renault-Samsung Motors launched the much awaited flagship grade for the premium midsize sedan known as the SM5 (now also in Europe as the Renault Latitude). For those who reside in Korea, you're in luck because there was a Nissan-sourced VQ 2.5-litre V6 engine found on the Nissan Skyline and Teana added in the engine choice. Now, Korean customers can choose either an entry level 2.0L variant or the new flagship 2.5L V6 variant for the new SM5.

This is Korea's first. The first Korean sedan to be fitted with the 2.5L V6 engine sourced from a Japanese car company.

However, even when fitted with the new V6 engine on the new SM5, its still can't beat the Kia K5 because of the performance index.

Most fans of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun always recognize fripSide, responsible for the opening themes from the Railgun anime such as "only my railgun" and "Level 5 -Judgelight-". They also sang "future gazer", the theme song from the Railgun OVA.

OK, time for my Saten-Uiharu fanfic to describe what's in the album...

Uiharu: What's this?

Saten: It's fripSide's 1st album, titled infinite sythesis!

Uiharu: infinite synthesis?

Saten: Correct!

Uiharu: What's in this album? I wanna hear it, Saten-san.

Saten: This album contains 13 fripSide tracks, including our favorite songs such as only my railgun, LEVEL5-judgelight-, and future gazer. (Giggle) Can't wait to listen on this CD!

Uiharu: Let me listen to that too!

Saten: Of course!

OK, no time for fanfic, but anyway this CD features 13 tracks most fripSide fans will love, including songs from the Railgun anime. There is also a song titled "everlasting" that was heard on the "Ah! My Goddess!" Volume 42 OVA (you know in Japan, there was an OVA included as a limited-edition on that Ah My Goddess manga).

LIMITED EDITION:
Not only fripSide fans can enjoy this album, there's a limited edition DVD included. This DVD includes the music video of "everlasting", behind the scenes of this music video, TV commercial, and meet fripSide on a documentary called HISTORY OF fripSide 2009-2010. Also on the limited edition is a 12-page booklet.

If Uiharu and Saten had the time to listen to this CD, maybe everyone's going to love fripSide's 1st Full Album courtesy from Geneon Universal!

Action-packed Goin Bulilit special!

Goin Bulilit special episode - Huwag Mo Akong Galitin

Last November 28, we enjoyed a very special Christmas episode of Goin Bulilit titled "Sa Araw ng Pasko".

On December 5, 2010, Goin Bulilit aired an awesome action-packed special episode titled "Huwag Mo Akong Galitin (Don't Make Me Mad)". A special episode is about an ex-convict (Nash Aguas) who was freed from prison to start a new life. He was imprisoned because of the snatcher situation, where he was going to save a female victim from a snatcher but the female victim turned out to be the snatcher and the victim was a policeman.

He was going to undo his past (and his cowardliness)...

A tale of revenge never tasted this sweet. Revenge is a dish best served cold, but in this Goin Bulilit special, revenge never tasted this delicious.

Better get out of here before I get blown up by some Stinger missile!
