My Bisei-Tokei user impression

A few months ago, I purchased some kind of a cool iPod Touch/iPhone app that find others very appealing. It's called Bisei-Tokei. If someone doesn't know what Bisei-Tokei is, this app is made from Bijin-Tokei, the clock app featuring photos of beautiful women showing up what time it is.

Bisei-Tokei is a Bijin-Tokei app showing up one of the most popular female seiyuus from anime shows and video games.

It includes:

1) Ai Nonaka (Konoka Konoe from Mahou Sensei Negima, Binchou-tan from Binchou-tan)

2) Yui Kano (Momoko from Sumomomo Momomo)

3) Akemi Kanda (Asuna Kagurazaka from Mahou Sensei Negima)

4) Ryo Hirohashi (Sora from Kaleido Star)

5) Masumi Asano (Saga from Sugar A Little Snow Fairy, Hakufu from Ikki Tousen series, Oboro Kashiwagi from Zettai Karen Children)

6) Tomoko Kaneda (Chiyo from Azumanga Daioh)

7) Satomi Sato (Ritsu Tainaka from K-On!)

8) Houko Kuwashima (Mei Ling from Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots)

9)  Mai Aizawa (Natsumi Murakami from Mahou Sensei Negima, Ayano from Lucky Star)

10) Yuka Saito (Chizuru Akaba from Seitokai no Ichizon)

11) Ryoko Shiraishi (Hayate Ayasaki from Hayate the Combat Butler, Aoi Nogami from Zettai Karen Children)

12) Kanae Ito (Amu Hinamori from Shugo Chara series, Ruiko Saten from To Aru Kagaku no Railgun)

My favorite seiyuus from the Bisei-Tokei app were Ryoko Shiraishi, Kanae Ito, Akemi Kanda, and Ai Nonaka. If my Bisei-Tokei app is on and if I saw a photo of Ryoko Shiraishi holding what time it is, I can often hear Hayate's voice. When a photo of Kanae Ito shows up, her voice is kinda bored, her voice kinda looks like she's bored. I really really like it.

My least favorite on this app were Ryo Hirohashi and Tomoko Kaneda. Why? Every time a photo of Ryo Hirohashi shows up, I didn't realize how loud and how quick her time-mentioning looks like. If my iPod clock is on 3:25 - 3:29 PM and if the Bisei-tokei app is on, I would probably seeing a photo of Tomoko Kaneda look like this:

At sight I though this was some kind of a "Human Bottle". Yep. A "Human Bottle" with a "squeaky voice" so weird, I might tell others that who's this.

Did you know that I also bought the second half of the Bisei-Tokei app, called Bisei Tokei 2. It features another female seiyuus such as:

1) Rie Tanaka (Maria from Hayate the Combat Butler)

2) Chiaki Takahashi (Azusa Miura from THE IDOLM@STER)

3) Asami Imai (Chihaya Kisaragi from THE IDOLM@STER)

4) Yuko Goto (Mikuru Asahina from Haruhi Suzumiya series)

5) Saori Goto (Chitose from Galaxy Angel)

6) Ami Koshimizu (Nodoka Haramura from Saki)

7) Yuuko Kaida  (Shimei Ryomou form Ikki Tousen series)

8) Hiromi Konno (Akira Kogami from Lucky Star)

9) Marina Inoue (Yoko from Gurren Lagann, Shigeru Kanmuri from Yakitate! Japan, Wataru Tachibana from Hayate the Combat Butler)

10) Ayumi Fujimura (Naomi Umegae from Zettai Karen Children, Misaki Ayuzawa from Maid-sama!)

11) Yu Kobayashi (Setsuna Sakurazaki from Mahou Sensei Negima, Mariya from Mariaholic, Cecile from Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Hiroshi from Ookami Kakushi)

12) Kana Asumi (Popura from WORKING!, Hyoka Kazakiri from To Aru Majutsu no Index)

My picks from Bisei-Tokei 2 were Rie Tanaka, Marina Inoue, and Ayumi Fujimura. The reason is this:

If Rie Tanaka's photo shows up on my iPod:

I can almost hear Maria's voice from her. Eh? Is that Maria from Hayate no Gotoku! No wait, it's her seiyuu!

Marina Inoue sounds cool but when I hear Marina Inoue's voice,

She's quiet. Her tone was too quiet. But I like Marina Inoue for that personality.

But the best seiyuu from Bisei-Tokei 2 is Ayumi Fujimura! Why?

Mmmm...mmmm...mmmm... Her voice is soooo cute! Much like Zettai Karen Children's Naomi Umegae! Every time if a photo of Ayumi Fujimura shows up, I can often hear Naomi Umegae's voice! Cute!

Well, that's my user impression. Hope there will be more Bisei-Tokeis in the future and whose seiyuu will be feature next....

K-On!! Original Sound Track Vol.1 and Vol.2

K-On!! Original Sound Track Vol. 1 K-On!! Original Sound Track Vol. 2

The second season of K-On!, called K-On!! (thanks to an additional exclamation point), was a decent success with the new storyline, new songs, and same K-on factor carried from the first season.

X5

Nokia X5

When the new Nokia phone, the X5, hasn't showed up its qwerty keyboard, the shape of this cellphone looks more like a foundation, making this a perfect cellphone targeted for girls. If you slide it, the X5 truly shows up not just a cute cellphone, it's a cute and functional cellphone good enough for you to try.

From the sizing borrowed from the sixth-generation iPod Nano, the new Nokia X5, part of the innovative Nokia X Series, shows that sizes like these does not matter when it comes to functional features such as the QWERTY keyboard, 2GB microSD memory card included for more photos, videos, and everything, Surprise Me! app that picks a random song from your phone, internet connectivity via 3.5G or Wi-Fi, and a 5-megapixel camera for shooting pics and flicks.

This phone comes in three colors; pink, black, and blue. As you may know, the Nokia X5 is pretty in pink, providing a good feminine touch for the girls who want a very very cute phone that has a host of major major features.

My dent on the Nokia X5 is the small screen because how can I use this phone if the screen is too small for the big jobs? Leave it to the girls because the new Nokia X5 is a girls-only phone designed for its cute size.

Last night's episode of Banana Split takes on Urban Zone (and some Balikbayan jokes to follow)

The October 16 episode of Banana Split pokes fun at the Balikbayans because of the balikbayan jokes offered. I like the joke where Melai speaks English in a sophisticated manner.

Before the balikbayan jokes, the showbiz updates keep rounding it up on Balitang Siksik Showbiz Edition.

Yes ma'am? Yes ma'am! Pokwang and Pooh pokes fun on another round of Yes Ma'am about organizing the pages 1 to 300 in less than 15 minutes.

Ryan Bang's here for another Kaalamang Nakakahibang about Korean numbers.

Then, Banana Split spoofs Urban Zone. Dubbed Uban Zone, Angelica as Badaphne, her take on Daphne, visits a well-organized room. When she reaches the master's bedroom, thing's getting ugly.

After the Urban Zone spoof, the Matanglawin spoof, Mutanglawin, shows up, as Kuya Keem (John Prats) visits Korean inventor wannabe Igor Stojokovic Krystic (Ryan Bang), who has sore eyes. Didn't realize that Igor's yaya has a twitter account, so that's how Kuya Keem trailed all the way to Igor with the Precision Eyedrops. The funny part where Kuya Keem and his Camarincus (camera man) poured some Suka (vinegar) on Igor's sore eyes! ROFL!

After that, Jason Francisco takes a visit on Rizza Masahista (RR Enriquez) again as the crazy massager uses a wooden board for some...um...force of habit!

Endless Love Pinoy version's sad ending...

Remember the ending of the Korean drama, Endless Love (original title: Autumn in my Heart)? How sad for Johnny about the death of Jenny.

On the finale of the Philippine version of Endless Love, after Johnny (Dingdong Dantes) and the near-death Jenny (Marian Rivera) married, things have changed. Well, after Jenny wrote a farewell letter to Johnny (from the second to the last episode), this is how the fate she chose for herself.

OK, on that finale, Jenny dies. SNIFF..

Endless Love (Philippine version) ending

With every Kapuso who watched the tear dropping ending of the Pinoy version of the hit Korean drama, what do you think? I know, I know, it's so sad. You guys must have wasted tons of tissue paper when tears pour down endlessly on such a very sad ending.

That ending was the same as the Korean version. The ending where Johnny got ran over by the truck, I can never forget that... (sniff)

Grease in Lokomoko...

The October 15 episode of Lokomoko U got us covered in Grease, because the gags were themed after the musical movie titled Grease. Empoy sings before the start of the Grease-themed gag that leave us hungry over the laughter served.

On the mini-drama Bahaw, does Mrs. Wang (Tuesday Vargas) want to marry Blue (Empoy)? Hope not because Blue is fitted for Pinky. Then, everyone's here! How can Blue struggle for the love of Pinky if Mrs. Wang gets on his way? Find out soon!

Want to eat an egg for breakfast? Star Factory has one!

After that, more Pinoy Brainless in on the way!

Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi Original Soundtrack Otogibako

Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi Original Soundtrack Otogibako

Ryoko Okami; a feisty teenager armed with the cat-shaped boxing gloves. Ringo Akai; Ryoko's best friend. Ryoshi Morino; a not-so-average teenage boy. Alice Kiriki, the secretary of the Otogi Bank. Otsu Tsurugaya, the maid. The cute Otohime Ryugu, and the eccentric Majolica le Fay. Think this is a fairy tale? Nope, this is Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi (日本名:
オオカミさんと七人の仲間たち), an anime based on the light novels made possible by ASCII Media Works (famous for Toradora, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, and the To Aru series). As you may know, this anime is a little but awkward from the start to the end of the series. Gosh, the only thing more eccentric is Satomi Arai (Kuroko from To Aru series) narrating the entire Ookami-san story.

There are fans of both the novel and the anime liked the anime so much, it is because of Shizuka Ito's role of Ryoko Okami. Never realized that Ryoko Okami has a super cool attitude that sends her fists go nyaaaaaan! Before bundling up Ryoko's cat-shaped boxing gloves, why not take a break on something offered from the Otogi Bank?

This original soundtrack contains the TV-sized versions of the opening song, Ready Go! by May'n, and the closing song, Akazukin-chan Goyoujin by OToGi8. The in-anime BGMs were perfectly hand made by Megumi Ohashi (behind the Yumeiro Patissiere BGMs), providing a quick reminisce on the fairy tale like no other fairy tale has ever told.

TRACK LISTINGS:
1. ようこそ!御伽花市へ
2. Ready Go! (TV Size, full version sold separately)

(TV Size, full version sold separately)
39. めでたしめでたし
40. オオカミさんと七人の仲間たちのテーマ

What's great: All 40 tracks good enough to relieve the Ookami-san story straight to your ears.

What's not great: All of them are not as good as the narration from the anime, but you'll get a hang of it soon.

What's in a noodle? A tip to avoid getting demolished?

Earlier, I watched Banana Split Daily Servings on ABS-CBN. On the segment called "Mga Shorts ni Kuya Keem (Mutanglawin Trivia)", John Prats, as Kuya Keem, explains what is a noodle. With Kuya Keem's tongue got burned because the noodle's hot, Korean inventor wannabe Igor Stojokovic Krystic (Ryan Bang) showed up for his invention, the noodle fan. What's a noodle fan?! What invention is it? Oh yes, it's a powerful invention that makes noodle eating easier. Since this is a noodle fan, you won't reach the noodle because the wind blowing away over the thing where noodles are put. ROFL

To add fun of it, M3: Melai Mo Magwork, wtih Melai Cantiveros, shows up for tips to avoid having your shanty getting demolished by the MMDA:

5) Make a "Nuno sa Punso" house and it will confuse the MMDA officers (Oh, it's a nuno sa punso!)

4) Avoid putting walls, doors, and windows. It's a lot harder to demolish if the floors are remaining! (AHH!)

3) Warn the MMDA officers that this house is haunted! (Hmph!)

2) Bring the ninongs to convince the MMDA officers a ninong knows. (Let's go!)

1) Demolish your own, so you can confuse them!

In truth, buy your own house and lot legally to avoid being demolished. Melai said that.

Citroen C4 II

2011 Citroen C4

The previous C4 wows the crowd because of two undeniable answers; the participation on World Rally Championship and the advertisement that the C4 transforms into a robot for coolness. Does this answers sounds cool? The C4 is no longer a rally car because the DS3 take place for the next WRC season, and for that, the outdated C4 is finally reborn in a fresh new second-generation basis. Welcome to the all-new, second-generation, Citroen C4.

The new C4's exterior truly celebrates to its name thanks to Citroen's design DNA and the front view is somewhat similar to the GTbyCitroen concept, providing the sportiness on this hatchback that does not need to be called eccentric or strange. It is a shame that the 3-door version of the C4 is not offered, but on the lighter side, it will be replaced by the sportier version of the C4, the DS4, to be launched next year. It seems odd that the DS4 is not a 3-door version of the C4 because of the secret rear doors offered. In the meantime, the new second generation C4 needs to be told first.

The new C4's exterior is truly a sports car in the making, but the new interior feels like a premium luxury sedan because of the luxurious features offered to keep the driver interested for more. What I personally like about the new C4 is the refreshed front seats because it resembles more like the seats commonly found on most sports cars. The leather upholstery adds a touch of class and perfects how the new C4's interior should be.

At the start, the new C4 carries various engines available; the diesel-fed 1.6-liter HDi, the 2.0-litre HDi, 1.6-litre VTi petrol engine, 1.4-litre VTi, and the range-topping 1.6-litre THP engine that comes with a turbocharger. Do not forget the new micro-hybrid 1.6-litre e-HDi engine. This new engine was made to be more of an eco-car because of its micro-hybrid technology. Most people looking for power may go for the 1.6L THP variant because of its turbocharged performance that it makes it worthy to be called a hot hatch, but for those looking for fuel efficiency may go on the 1.6L HDi 90 FAP variant because of less fuel consumption and less CO2 emissions. Depending on the variant, the available transmissions they will get is either a 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, or 6-speed AT with Paddle Shifters (available on the new C4 e-HDi). The new C4 may be equipped with safe features such as Intelligent Traction Control, ESP, Lane Departure Warning, xenon dual-function directional headlamps, blind-spot monitoring system, cruise control, and speed-limiter.

My thoughts about the C4:
If this hatchback made a close encounter with the Opel Astra, Mazda Axela Sport, Lancia Delta, Kia Forte Hatchback, Hyundai i30, or even the Mitsubishi Galant Fortis Sportback, expect a huge dogfight on these hatchback rivals because neither a single car addict know the differences of these hatchbacks. The previous generation C4 may be good because of the Transformers-like ad, but the new second-generation Citroen C4 is now evolved from bland to glamor because of its premium features. This premium hatchback offered from Citroen has a unique taste most men would take granted for because this premium hatchback is made for their personal preference. Should you go for this or wait for the DS4? The choice is yours. The new C4 has a positive power within reach.

More than a broken vow...

Hey! I got some weird news coming out from the Playstation Blog that the much anticipated racing game, Gran Turismo 5, has been delayed, again.

Ugh! That announcement made me as MAD as Bertong Siga! (you know, the Bubble Gang sketch years ago about a super tough guy terrorizing the men in the sari-sari store, then another tough guy challenges Bertong Siga, then Bertong Siga gay punched the tough guy and the tough guy cried like a baby)

I wonder what the guys said, this holiday season? What is it? I don't get it...

Future Gazer

Future Gazer by fripSide

Future Gazer debut! As a special treat before the To Aru Kagaku no Railgun (日本名:とある科学の超電磁砲) OVA goes on sale this late October, Geneon Universal pleased to announced that the OVA theme song titled Future Gazer, sung by fripSide, is now here as a maxi single CD, allowing Railgun fans to listen to the theme song on the upcoming To Aru Kagaku no Railgun OVA. Of course, the ending theme song Special "ONE", sung by Elisa (you know her for singing two closing themes from Railgun) coming very soon late this October.

About this song, Future Gazer sounds good, it kinda felt like the two Railgun opening songs; only my railgun and LEVEL 5 -Judgelight-. The tune seems to be more of a techno and this truly lives it up in either fripSide or Railgun fashion. If you're sure now, there is a new song coming up from fripside, titled fortissimo-the ultimate class. Anyway, I'm not kind of familiar about the fortissimo song, but best to stick with Future Gazer, because this is how you get started before the Kagaku no Railgun original video animation arrives this late October.

LIMITED EDITION: The limited edition not just packs the music CD, but also a bonus DVD containing the music video of Future Gazer, plus behind the scenes footage on fripSide going to Egypt for the shooting of the Future Gazer music video. This thing's getting hotter but hurry up because the heat's losing up fast, or in other words, LIMITED AVAILABILITY! So better buy it before the heat's gone.

If Index gets its own PSP game, will Railgun gets it own?

With the success of the second season of To Aru Majutsu No Index, titled To Aru Majutsu no Index II, it seems we are getting anxious to watch more of Index II or even better, waiting for the PSP game of Majutsu no Index this winter.

Yes I know, this winter, To Aru Majutsu no Index fits straight to PSP, as a fighting game. Do we otakus really really like it?

For fans of the recently ended anime, now waiting for its OVA release, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, the question they asked is, "Will Railgun get its own PSP game as Index did?"

As of that, a certain 2channeler posted some magazine photo with a page containing the details.

A certain 2channeler photographed some magazine page about the Railgun PSP details

A certain 2channeler could be right. Kagaku no Railgun for PSP could be rather more of a visual novel game, with the decisions up to the player. Kinda like Misshitsu no Sacrifice, even better. On the teaser site, commercialization for this game starts this Spring 2011.

Hope I'll catch up to both of these!

Everyone's going to like them both because of Mikoto "Biribiri" Misaka!
