There's still more to come for The Children, a trio of crime-fighting girls as seen on the Zettai Karen Children anime series because they're back with their second mini-album titled Ambitious. The mini-album brings Aya Hirano, Haruka Tomatsu, and Ryoko Shiraishi back together as The Children, performing three new songs, then the character song Triple Message last heard in THE UNLIMITED character CDs, and of course, a brand new version of the song as heard from the Zettai Karen Children OVA titled ☆Seventh★Heaven☆.

Oh yeah, for limited quantities, there's a special DVD which contains the music video of the EDIT version of Triple Message.

Aired in TV Tokyo from January to March 2013, THE UNLIMITED -Hyobu Kyosuke- is a much darker spinoff from the memorable Zettai Karen Children anime series which highlights PANDRA leader Kyosuke Hyobu, his new recruit (unknowingly a spy from USEI) Andy Hinomiya, a mysterious girl named Yugiri, and the rest of PANDRA, travelling across the globe in their camouflaged ship known as the Catastrophe. With returning characters from Zettai Karen Children also featured on this spin-off, the anime series also delves deeper through Kyosuke Hyobu's past, making it one of the most darkest storylines ever told in the Zettai Karen Children franchise.

Welcome everyone to the original soundtrack based on the dark spinoff as seen on TV Tokyo since winter and with Kotaro Nakagawa, who was behind the BGM from the Zettai Karen Children series, at helm, this two-disc compilation features some of the darkest background musics as heard from what is believed to be one of the darkest anime series of the winter.

The more times I watch THE UNLIMITED, the more I'm starting to getting to know more about the most feared ESPer from PANDRA, along with his sombreness, his guilt, his past, any mysteries lurking about his identity. Yes, thank you and this anime series is not without some plot holes. Even though it's enriched with dark sides of the story, I think it's rather nice.

First up, Kyosuke Hyobu performs BRAND NEW EDEN while Hinomiya takes care of that with Realize Mission. Then, Minamoto performs his character song called ミライノサキへ while Syuji Sakaki can do better than that with his character song called COME TOGETHER!!!! Lastly, the heroines you once know in the past known as The Children performed their new song called Triple Message and then, the mysterious Yugiri has a character song called タカラモノ.

Apart from that, Kyosuke and Hinomiya had their own arrangement versions of the song called DARKNESS NIGHT while Minamoto and Sakaki prepped up their own arranged versions of BRIGHTEST LIGHT. The Children trumps with their brand new third version of MY WINGS and for Yugiri, she has another character song to fill the gap called 未来物語.

Yes, if you lock your eyes on this character CD, you might end up saying "Haidaraaaa!!" and henceforth going to buy it to listen from the songs done by your favorite characters. LOL. You may not intent saying "Haidaraaaa!!" unless you listen it to enjoy it because Zettai Karen Children Starring Collection makes a fun addition from your ever-growing anime music CD collection. The case says it all, Zettai Karen Children All The Best CD features all the opening and closing theme songs of the hit 2008 anime previously aired on TV Tokyo, Zettai Karen Children. My Comment:
Sir/Ma'am, these 12 tracks truly relieving the whole Zettai Karen adventures while relieving the newly released OVA, now on sale, for keeps. If those can't keep you entertained, try Zettai Karen Children Starring Collection, sung by the entire cast of Zettai Karen Children (sold separately). With these combos, I'm sure these can make a perfect souvenirs from your anime music CD collection.

Made for DVD and Blu-Ray sequel of the ever-popular 2008 anime, Zettai Karen Children focuses on the new mission of the now-grown The Children, now on their junior high school days. Their latest mission is to find out who's responsible on the attack of B.A.B.E.L. and take this culprit once and for all. Unknowingly, the key person, Koichi Minamoto was held responsible for the attack but he's not involved on the attack. He was possessed by an evil power from the villain called the Phantom Daughter. Dubbed herself as the "queen", the true "queen" is none other than Kaoru Akashi, and only she can stop the Phantom Daughter. Things are getting complicated for the Children because also on the OVA, their first encounter with the three girls from BABEL's rival organization, PANDRA.

The OVA of Zettai Karen Children might seem to be okay because our crime fighting trio are all grown up. Seems that Kaoru Akashi is now more look a lot like that red-haired girl from Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou, Aoi Nogami hasn't changed a lot from her 10-year-old to her teenage look, and Shiho Sannomiya now looks a lot like Peace Walker's Paz Ortega Andrade, if you know what I meant. However, the storyline seems to be quite an original, sometimes suitable for the otaku's personal taste, some are not. Fanservice? Rarely, but almost, because of the swimming pool scene and the shower scene.

Despite the original storyline, this OVA is still a Zettai Karen Children favorite even when our favorite crimefighting trio are now grown to be teenagers. Still, it's enjoyable.

Few pointers before the Zettai Karen OVA debut...

With the new Zettai Karen Children OVA titled "Zettai Karen Children Aitazosei! Ubawareta Mirai? (日本名:絶対可憐チルドレン -愛多憎生!奪われた未来?-) coming out in Japanese stores this July (not far from next week), most fans of this series are going to prepare most before taking a gander of the grand comeback of the crime-fighting heroines known as "The Children", Koichi Minamoto, and the rest of B.A.B.E.L. Oh, and we also forgot to mention Kyosuke Hyobu as well, showing his sinister attitude again.

CASE ONE: 

If they said they already watched the entire Zettai Karen Children episodes from the start to finish, then, they're ready to watch the OVA coming this July. For those who are new to the series, best to watch the anime series first before getting your newbie hands on the OVA. I wish I want to see the anime series first before the OVA, any ideas? It's a long show and it is not going to be that easy watching the show from the start to finish.

CASE TWO:

Who listened the entire Zettai Karen Children songs from opening themes, ending themes, and character songs? That's an interesting question. With opening themes like Over the Future, ending themes such as Zettai LoveXLove Sengen, to character songs done by our favorite Zettai Karen Children characters, you might be welcomed more than your sixth sense. Also, a few weeks after the OVA's debut, there will be a powerhouse of Zettai Karen Children CDs to collect such as this:

If someone say "we were all psyched up by the main heroines from Zettai Karen Children (日本名:絶対可憐チルドレン) because they're cute" and "We want some more from these cuties", well you're in luck. While Japanese otakus who are fond of the psychic action series, which the series will return on an all new OVA series starting this July, the music CD sung by the three heroines of the anime series, known themselves as The Children. With Kaoru Akashi (CV: Aya Hirano), Aoi Nogami (CV: Ryoko Shiraishi), and Shiho Sannomiya (CV: Haruka Tomatsu) at your arsenal, you'll be psyched up listening to these 10 tracks all setup by these super heroic gals! Seems decent at first, but the opening and ending themes are all packed in this album!

My Impression:
Hard to tell how this album does, but it sure is loaded with non-stop kawaii-ness and sugoi-ness that you can't complain against these heroic psychic dames. If you like the series and waiting for the OVA to arrive in July, be sure to unwind, relax and listen to the songs made possible by The Children!

Zettai Karen Children Original Sound Track 1 & 2

From Shogakukan, publishers of favorites such as Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, Kenichi, Law of Ueki, and Hayate the Combat Butler, comes an action-packed story about three psychic heroines summoned by the organization dedicated to vanquish evil and save the world. Titled Zettai Karen Children (日本名：絶対可憐チルドレン), this manga became a sensation and the anime is a not-so-shabby flavor for the boys and girls who are addicted to those three psychic heroines; Kaoru, Aoi, and Shiho. To top it all of this Zettai Karen fandom, Mr. Kotaro Nakagawa is all psyched up for the creation of two soundtracks packed with BGMs from the hit TV show that is psyched to the maximum level.
