2011 Renault Megane III Berline/Coupe/Estate/Coupe-Cabriolet GT
Following the success of the Renault Sport Megane last year, Renault unleashed a completely new breed of Megane that releases the sporty character within reach. The Renault Megane III GT range (in 5-door hatchback, 3-door coupe, estate, and coupe-cabriolet) releases a sporty character ranging from its aggressive exterior, sporty dark interior, and two engine types available to show how good are those French soldiers are on the streets of Paris.
On the design side, the Renault Megane GT shows its aggressive character via bumpers, GT badge, dark interior, sports pedal set, analogue rev-counter, 18-inch dark metal rims, and everything similar to the Renault Sport Megane. For those who cannot afford a 30,000 Euro Renault Sport Megane, this might be a good chance to try its cheaper alternative to the sportiest Megane ever built by the French automaker.
Two available engines are available for the Renault Megane GT such as the TCe 180 gasoline engine and the dCi 160 diesel engine. A TCe gas engine is built for maximum enjoyment while the dCi diesel engine is built for fuel efficiency. Both are Euro 5 compliant and equipped with the standard six-speed manual transmission. With the manual transmission armed and ready for the Megane GT, this car will surely be a fun to drive experience for adults.
My thoughts about the Megane GT:
The wow factor for the Megane GT is somewhat be 85% and our pogi points for this ride would go as much as 85 points because only hardcore Europeans are welcomed to try out the exciting addition of the Renault Megane series. These fun factors will surely leave you sweating with excitement once you step inside the Renault Megane GT. Forget about getting the air conditioner on; the sporty character will leave you scorched and makes you want to drive it again for maximum enjoyment.
In Japan, the word megane truthfully means glasses. From the French automaker, Renault, the Megane name does not really refer to some eye wear from Japanese culture; the Megane is as a 5-door hatchback, 3-door coupe, or station wagon built for grand touring fun.
From the Megane's distinctive styling in each corner, you can rest assured that no other car can be as cunning as, enjoyable as, comfortable as this French car sold for the balanced car enthusiast. On the 5-door hatchback model, it is much more normal to look at it with its distinctive taste, giving this model an opportunity to compete against other hatchbacks such as the Mazda Axela and the Opel Astra. The 3-door coupe variant provides aggressive design and strikingly amazing features to compete the likes of the Volkswagen Scirocco. The new Estate variant brings the grand touring style on Renault and this would be a worthy opponent to the Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon, Mazda Atenza Sports Wagon, Opel Insignia Sports Tourer, and the Honda Accord Tourer. Above all, those Meganes would make other cars a suitable rival on the road. I guarantee it would be a so-so during comparison results done by automotive journalists.
A choice of a 1.6-litre, 2.0-litre, 1.3-litre diesel, or 1.8-litre diesel engine, and a choice of 6-speed manual, 5-speed auto, or continuously variable transmission deliver most of the Megane's unquestionable performance, depending on which body type you choose. Depending on the variant, the Megane gets most of the innovative features such as Electronic Stability Program, bi-xenon headlamps, optional fog lamps, seat belts, multi-information display on the dashboard, keyless entry, optional navigation system, and parking assist.
Sportiness on the outside, pure luxuriousness on the Megane’s interior, which others find somewhat interesting to feel at. The interior features give the passengers ease out of stress from the outside. The Arkamys 3D sound system gives the music you are listening in the Megane more realistic and clearer quality than you have never heard of it before, especially while changing tunes to your AM/FM/CD/MP3 player. To add fun of it, an optional panoramic sunroof provides passengers a view to the top. Just most of these features keep the Megane range enjoyable and comfortable adults would love to try.
Megane RenaultSport
Inspired by the Renault Formula One team, derived from the Megane Trophy Race Car, and using the Megane Coupe as the base, the RenaultSport version of the Renault Megane Coupe is engineered for the fast and furious drivers in France. Powered with the 2.0-litre turbo engine that delivers 250 PS, achieved a top speed of 245km/h and 6.1 seconds on a 0-100km run, the explosive performance of the Megane RenaultSport would take your heart-pounding experience to a whole new dimension. On track days, the RS monitor is surely handy for checking out your Megane RS's best lap times and your car's status, depending on your racing level. Consider driving on the Wangan expressway or the Autobahn with that one and regularly check your Megane RS's best results. Please note that the RS Monitor is not applicable when the navigation system option is placed on the Megane RS.
ACCORDING TO MY OPINION:
The third-generation Megane from Renault is one of the most eye-popping French cars you have ever faced on the Renault range. With the hatchback, coupe, and estate at hand, the new Megane takes the turn and into the loophole to turn the tables against other cars in this category. The hatchback variant looks normal in the eyes of a Renault fan, while the coupe variant explodes so much adrenaline to street-race for, and the estate variant is a grand touring must-have for wagon addicts. If these Meganes are not enough for you, the RenaultSport Megane brings the power of the F1 within reach. Judging on which Megane are you, rest assured that you can put or do not put your glasses and see the Megane for yourself. This French car is the perfect vision for the future of the Renault brand.
As a formidable foe to the BMW 3-Series, Lexus IS, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Audi A4, there is no surprise that the second-generation Cadillac CTS can outwit, outlast, outclass, and outclass any kind of luxury medium sedan at its core, even in a car enthusiasts' imagination.
With Cadillac's design flow inherited from the Cadillac Sixteen concept sedan, the second-generation CTS is somewhat more than meets the eye in terms of performance, quality, and packaging suitable for well-mannered adults. Besides its design, the CTS will come, not only in sedan, but also in sports wagon and coupe (coming soon), but for right now, let's focus first on the sedan and the wagon variant for a while. With the sedan variant boasts a lot of sportiness for adults, the sports wagon is some kind of machine that other station wagons never underestimate the power of the American-made station wagon. The CTS sedan combines the efforts of a sports car and a luxury car, while the CTS Sport Wagon provides spaciousness for everything, giving this station wagon premium quality adults would love to get.
Depending on the body style you choose, from the sporty sedan to the grand touring sports wagon variant, the Cadillac CTS is powered with either a 3.0-litre LFI V6 engine with over 274PS of power, or a 3.6-litre LLT V6 engine with almost 310PS of power. It also comes with an optional all-wheel drive, and a choice of two transmissions; a 6-speed 6L50/90 automatic transmission, or a 6-speed Aisin AY-6 manual transmission. Aside from these features the CTS stands safe for everyone, thanks to its StabiliTrak, daytime running lamps, ABS, disc brakes, tire pressure monitor system, and most optional for all General Motors cars: OnStar.
If the standard CTS looks boring or vanilla to feel at, consider this:
A high-performance version of the CTS, known as the CTS-V, is bound to be the perfect rival from the likes of the Audi S4, BMW M3, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, and also the Jaguar XFR. With 6.2-litre V8 engine, delivering almost 570PS of power output, standard StabiliTrak system, power steering, limited slip differential, a choice of either automatic or manual transmission, a choice of five sleek colors, and loads of conveniences, the CTS-V stands everyone out and if you are successful, this could be the envy of your office mates, especially your last boss: your office boss!
IN OTHER WORDS:
With the coupe variant coming soon, what I like about the new CTS and the new CTS Sport Wagon is its conveniences engineered and designed to be almost a premium mid-size sedan for adults. Let's not forget the cunning CTS-V that brings seasoned sports car drivers a whole new level to the word: HOT WHEELS! It doesn't matter, while you turned your ordinary medium sedan in favor for the new CTS, you will never turn back to your old medium sedan again. Be warned.
The action is ended, the floundered are recognized, the legend was finally reborn, and the dawn of Subaru's legacy, that excelled for more than two decades, is finally unleashed their ultimate rage that will overcome the plan for world domination over recession. Just what you have expected that all is lost, the raging miracle of the new fifth generation Legacy has finally unleashed the aura so intense, no other cars can find its true naming than this.
By perceiving the "Grand Touring Innovation" that dates back its 20-year heritage, all three Legacies such as the Touring Wagon, the B4 sedan and the crossover Legacy variant, known as the Outback, have finally gained its marvelous appearance.
By observing the look of all three Legacies, you will notice some surprising changes from various turns. The B4 variant (BM9) boasts some sports car looks just like its Impreza Anesis brother because of its sedan qualities while the Outback variant (BRF) provides a rugged exterior just like the Subaru Forester and the Subaru Tribeca and lastly, the Touring Wagon (BR9) is all-round from sportiness and ruggedness, giving it a true quality of a station wagon for the Subaru fanatics. Also, the frame-less windows are finally removed to give all three a perfect side view and enhanced beauty of the all-wheel drive at all sides.
All three Legacies have different transmission choices such as the 5-speed automatic transmission, 6-speed manual transmission and the new Subaru Lineartronic CVT transmission. For the Touring Wagon and the B4, a 2.5-litre SOHC boxer four-type engine or a 2.5 DOHC Boxer four turbo engine is offered for these two Legacies, while the Outback provides not just the 2.5-litre Boxer four-type engine, but also the new 3.6-litre DOHC boxer six-type engine. Best of all, the SI-DRIVE is an inevitable feature for all Subaru cars. Set it to Sport mode, and the Legacy will act normal for you, while the intelligent mode provides the best in fuel efficiency and the Sport Sharp mode allows you to push the Legacy to the maximum level.
Witness the miraculous interior in all three Legacies, providing the climactic comfort and all-round fun for the driver and the passenger. With a choice of several audio systems, climate control, adjustable seats and SRS air bags at several places, the inside view of the Legacy will keep your look out for more and you will beg for some more.
THE MIRACLE HAS CHANGED...
Just when you've thought all the things you've cared was lost. The real miracle begins when you step inside the all-new Subaru Legacy. From the outside, it looks so sexy but on the inside, it is a person’s cause for your intellectual craze over Japanese cars. It is the greed, life, truth, regret, love, health, laughter, sorrow, fear, rivalry, anxiety, academics, art, jazz, worry, pride, jealousy, disapproval, envy, and devotion best served with the mixture of air, water, earth, and fire from the intense aura of the new Legacy. Step inside the Legacy, and you will see the miraculous style and the intense aura inside. The choice is yours.
Volkswagen Group's Spanish marque, Seat (pronounced Seh-aht) stands a chance against other executive medium-sized sedan with their Exeo sedan, and if that was not enough to satisfy the needs for moderate buyers, the station wagon variant of the Seat Exeo, known as the Exeo ST (Sport Tourer), was engineered to be almost premium. It is the first time this Volkswagen marque from Spain did not use the names of Spanish cities (for instance, the Altea and the Ibiza) as part of the Seat tradition.
When I acknowledged the words "engineered to be almost a premium sedan,” well take at look how the Exeo's platform was derived from, it was derived from the latest-generation Audi A4 premium compact sedan’s body frame; you might check that it is somewhat more similar to its Czech counterpart, the Skoda Superb. The Exeo’s built not for luxuriousness, but for the grand touring experience. If I meant to say the statement "Grand Touring”, take a glance on the list of engines the Seat Exeo is in store for you. Depending on the variant, there is a choice of an entry-level 1.6L engine, turbocharged 1.8L engine, 2.0L TSI turbo engine, and for the diesel lovers, 2.0L TDI diesel turbo engine,
My pick was the 2.0L TDI diesel turbo engine because of this Spanish executive sedan's diesel capability, so saying that a car with a diesel engine has so many benefits from a low emission eco car.
There are other valuable technology offered on the Exeo sedan and ST:
1. Bi-Xenon headlamps with AFS, parking sensors for parking safety,
2. Rain and light sensors that allows the Exeo to activate the windshield wipers when rain occurs and the headlamps when travelling through dark areas,
3. Lastly, anti-theft system is equipped as an option to thwart the case of car theft.
My expressions about the Exeo:
Although it is a Spanish grand touring medium sedan and station wagon, built with the German flair, I might consider this would be a good start from other executive medium sedans, which are much pricier than the Exeo. With other rivals trying to stepping up for a chance, the Exeo sedan and the Exeo ST prove that this Spanish car might look for a prizefight ubiquitously.
