My FH5 Log: Less is More!

Obtained after hitting the 160-point mark at Forza Horizon 5's Horizon Wilds Takeover, the run-up for the Rally Adventure, the Sierra 700R is basically the cheaper version of the RX3 that is built for offroading in mind.

So, what's it all about the cheapest Sierra UTV money can buy?

The Sierra 700R is the affordable version of the RX3 where they've taken everything they've learned from the development of the RX3 and made it into a lightweight, more affordable package starting at 48K dollars plus additional costs. Powering this dirt-focused affordable UTV is a Yamaha Raptor 700r engine that produces 50hp of power and while mated to a 5-speed gearbox, it has a top speed of 85mph. Fair enough.

The 700R featured in FH5 is the one with the RX package which comes with 2-way Zbroz shocks, carbon wing, axles and flanges from the RX3, AIM dash/sensors, Hydro hand brake, gravel tires, and others.

With the quick introduction done, it's time to give the 700R a quick dirt race against other 700R drivers just to see how much fun the cheapest Sierra UTV can deliver. Roll the tape.

For an RX3 that is cheaper, less powerful, and dirt-focused, this is by no means one of the easiest to drive even when things get down and dirty. Not bad, Sierra Cars. Looks like I may have found my favorite UTV in the game after all.

Now that I got all of the Horizon Wilds Takeover prize cars and the Rally Adventure is ready to go, which one should I go first?

Anyway, enjoy your new ride.

My FH5 Log: Not your typical UTV

Known to be the industry's fastest single-seat, center-cockpit high-performance recreational vehicle, the Sierra is built to tackle the world's dirtiest places with its speed and toughness and its debut on Forza Horizon 5 really means business.

This is Sierra Cars' offering to Forza Horizon 5. It's the Sierra RX3, a small but terrible monster born and bred on the rally cross track.

This is not your typical UTV. The Sierra RX3 is a well-balanced UTV designed to tackle both asphalt and dirt. Powered by the same engine as the Suzuki Hayabusa superbike that produces 200hp of power while mated to a SADEV 6-speed sequential gearbox, and because it weighs 925lbs, the Sierra RX3 is capable of hitting 0-60mph of 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 121mph.

The Sierra RX3 is like a mashup between a track toy and a buggy because this is an all-rounder that is not afraid to get itself dirty and I gotta admire its capabilities. It feels tricky on my first attempt because it's a rear-wheel-drive UTV, but as I'm getting familiarized with this UTV, this is by no means one of the most enjoyable vehicles to drive in the game. It's all about having fun everywhere.

To test the RX3's all-around capability, let's take it near the Mexican jungle, battling against a group of car enthusiasts making an impression, just to give you a glimpse of the RX3's strengths and weaknesses. Ready, set, go!

What a mess in the climax but hey, the RX3 barely won and survived. I'm quite surprised.

With its well-balanced attributes fit for both dirt and asphalt, the Sierra RX3 is not your typical UTV because it's more than that. It's great to have the Sierra RX3 found its sandbox in Horizon Mexico, the ideal venue to flex its muscles and go all-in as an all-rounder. If you haven't tried it, now's your chance to try one for yourself. The capabilities will surprise you.
