NFS UNBOUND

The next generation of gaming consoles demands an all-new Need For Speed game and EA has responded with the arrival of the newest installment of the hit racing franchise that blends racing action with artistic expression and high-risk thrills.

NFS UNBOUND (PS5)

NFS UNBOUND (XBOX Series X)

NFS UNBOUND is the newest installment of the Need For Speed franchise where street racing is a work of art in a new urban setting where the stakes are high for those who dare to challenge.

Taking place in Lakeshore City, a fictional take on the streets of Chicago, NFS UNBOUND pits players on a high-stakes challenge where they are making money by racing and then surviving intense cop chases. The risks have never been this intense because the more you race, the more heat it builds, and when it gets high, be prepared to take on powerful forms of law enforcement that will hunt you and your ride down. Get busted and all of your savings are gone. You've been warned.

In solo-player story mode, you are assuming the role of a driver who is taking on The Grand in order to reclaim the ride that was taken away by an old friend who betrayed you two years ago. The Grand is a high-stakes tournament where you will need four cars to enter. The prize? One million dollars. Winner takes all.

Before taking on The Grand, you must first take on the weekly qualifiers. You have Sunday to Friday to rack up some funding for the buyout, tune up your car to the required class, and prepare. It's not going to be an easy task because with the cops hunting you, powerful rival drivers to take on, and a four-week time limit, best to plan ahead because one huge mistake will cost your chances. Stay alert, stay fast, and stay alive if you are willing to take on The Grand.

Time is money, so you need to find various ways to make money and survive the whole day to bank them, whatever it takes. In races, you'll have a feature to place bets against rivals. If you are feeling confident, you can place a bet against a powerful rival. It's a risk you'll take but taking risks is the main mantra of this game.

There are various racing events to take on; circuit racing, sprint racing, duel, podium race, drift event, and of course, The Takeover. The Takeover is where you'll show off your driving moves; drifting, jumping, and smashing targets. The higher the combo, the better the score so keep the combo alive if you want to win the Takeover.

Aside from racing, there are other ways to make money such as delivery missions from timed events where you'll be racing against the clock to high-heat delivery missions where you'll escape the cops and get to the destination with the car nearly intact. There will be random occurrences where you will be helping a distressed driver get to their safe house while evading the cops. Successfully clearing it will earn you a new safe house to hide away from the cops and call it a day.

While retaining the driver personalization from Heat, where you can dress in various clothing from top brands, UNBOUND features a wide selection of cars available. Tuners, muscles, exotics, they have it all in one place, unless you have a decent amount of cash to spend it. Of course, while you are afraid to spend one because you'll need some funding for the qualifier buyout, don't fret because there are some events where you can win a new car. Of course, the buyout's expensive but if you win, you can totally keep it if you can survive the night from the long arm of the law.

While tuning your car is the main priority to get an edge for The Grand, you can personalize it with body kits, wheels, paints, vinyl wraps, exhaust sounds, and vanity items. In UNBOUND, you can add some driving effects such as Tags and Samples to make some noise and graffiti come to life in your ride. Some say there are some cars that can be kitted with Legendary Customs, which features an ultra-unique body kit that stands out from the rest.

The sound of music is the sound of speed and NFS UNBOUND features an original soundtrack by Brodinski as well as a playlist of hip-hop and rap music, including a world premiere of A$AP Rocky's new song. Mind you, A$AP Rocky's making an appearance in the game as a rival character driving his customized Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16, the hero car of NFS UNBOUND. Some say if you can beat A$AP Rocky in a duel, he'll lend you the keys to his Mercedes. If you are itching to drive the game's cover car, this is your opportunity.

If you've enjoyed story mode, you can enjoy online multiplayer action, which is sadly separated from the solo-player story mode. While retaining its open-world element, players can take on a series of playlists to show the world who's the fastest. Of course, you can still get exposed to a cop chase if you're caught but hey, crossing paths has never been this intense in online multiplayer. Anything happens.

UNBOUND has proven itself to be the most intense installment of the franchise because by retaining everything we love about Need For Speed; the street racing action, cop chases, and an array of fast cars, while mixing it with artistic expressions, high-stakes gambling, and a hip-hop playlist to boot it, you'll get yourself hooked to UNBOUND. This is the art of driving with a thrilling mix of "run for the money" and this is how NFS UNBOUND rolls.

NFS Heat

Need For Speed is back with an all new installment where it truly reflects the ever-changing reputation of car culture where speedo boys spend their cold hard cash modifying their rides and then race against others, be it legal or illegal. NFS Heat is a flaming reflection of how speedo boys do in the ever-changing street scene thanks to its unique gameplay where they can risk everything they got to survive and thrive in the street scene.

Set in the beautiful Palm City, NFS Heat pits players on a high-speed journey to earn some street cred by winning against other racers, be it sanctioned by day or illegal by night, while avoiding the full force of the law.

Starting at daytime, players can win cash by winning sanctioned races and with enough money, they can spend it on rides and parts to make it fast or look cool inside and out. Speaking of which, aside from personalizing your cars with upgrade parts, body kits, wheels, and others, did you know that you can now swap engine as well as change exhaust notes?

Heat offers a wide array of tuners, muscles, and exotics from all parts of the world, especially the all new Polestar 1 PHEV grand tourer, which is the cover car of the game. Whichever ride you want to drive, they're yours to personalize whatever you want.

After upgrading your ride, you can take on street races at night to earn rep. With enough rep, you can unlock lots of parts and cars to buy, but beware because at nightfall, you need to survive from the full force of the police. They may be less of a threat in the day but in the night, they are behaving like a pack of wolves and they are doing for one purpose: to make sure your ride won't see the light of day, so watch out for cop cars, helicopters, rhinos, and an elite force led by Travis.

Although it's enjoyable in solo, NFS Heat is even more fun in multiplayer, which is similar from Rivals years ago, and wherever the other player jumps into your fray, you can't tell whether if the other player is your friend or foe, but who cares?

It maybe almost perfect to play, NFS Heat is an addictive open-world racing game which heavily reflects the ever-changing street scene. Call them crazy but Heat is how the Need For Speed franchise rolls and there's no argument for that. If you are a speedo boy who's ready to risk everything, consider this set.

Need For Speed Payback

EA's street racing franchise is back with a vengeance and a bang as the latest Need For Speed installment is an all-or-nothing gamble of the maddest racers ever assembled to claim what's rightfully theirs. So, let's fill in more on the most explosive installment in the Need For Speed franchise.

Need For Speed Payback (PS4)

Need For Speed Payback (XBOX One)

There is not much reason why this latest installment is called NEED FOR SPEED PAYBACK but I suspect the producers behind the Need For Speed franchise became very angry over the past year. Is it because with Porsche and EA called a divorce and ended up in different racing games? Whatever that is, the producers became apoplectic with anger because of Porsche, they made this for one purpose; revenge.

Yes. Revenge. In NFS Payback, you revolve the tale of three drivers; Ty, Jess, and Mac, as they will gain vengeance against The House, a shadowy organization that controls Fortune Valley's cities, criminals, and cops. These three drivers feature different ways to experience NFS Payback like for instance, Ty prefers racing, Jess is a getaway driver, and Mac tries to impress everyone with his drift and offroading skills. Whatever driving style they're doing, they have one thing in common; to bring The House down to its knees.

As you focus on the story missions, you need to do some things to progress towards your ultimate objective. Take on against Fortune Valley's best street racers in Street Leagues, outrun the cops, those are the usual stuff you should do as you progress through the story and if you need a break, you can always take on optional races to earn some cash and upgrades for your car. If you are confident with your driving abilities, you can place your bet before the race. If you win, you'll earn big, but lose, you will pay a painful price. And with Autolog back, every day's a gamble in Fortune Valley as you are taking on friends and rivals for a spot at rankings.

Payback features a wide selection of cars ranging from tuners, muscles, and exotics, and each car works well in different events such as street racing, drag racing, offroading, escaping the cops, or drifting. It takes knowledge to understand your dream ride's potential but if you need to flex your muscles, you need to modify your ride inside and out. From performance upgrades, wheels, tires, bodykits, even the exterior design of course, every car is a work of art if you put your mind and muscle over it.

Also keep an eye out of derelicts as it scattered across different parts of Fortune Valley. If you found it, Rav will tell you the parts you'll need to complete it. Of course, as you race, you will receive clues on the parts you'll need for your Derelict you're working on. As you found all the parts, the Derelict is restored to its former glory and you can assign which class suits best like for instance, you want the S30Z to become a drag racer or the Chevy Bel Air as an offroader. Be wary though that once picked, it will set to stone and if you believe you made a mistake, don't worry because the revived Derelict can now be available to purchase at the dealership.

As your car collection grows, you'd better need some garages because having a single garage in the beginning is not enough. As you progress, you can purchase different garages to expand your collection and if you bought all five garages, you can keep as many cars if you want. Pretty neat, isn't it?

Oh, and did I mention that the new F90 BMW M5 makes its first appearance exclusively on NFS Payback? Yes, really. NFS Payback grants players the keys to the next-generation BMW M5. With its turbocharged V8 engine that produces 600PS of power and M xDrive that makes it behave like two cars, put this new M5 to your advantage as you race towards the streets of Fortune Valley. You're going to need it.

So, thoughts about the newest Need For Speed game? Well, with the producers desperately seeking revenge against game makers stealing away their Porsches, they tried so hard to make a game that behaves like a brutal regime of a foreign nation but it's not quite as bellicose as they hoped for and even though it's not as engaging as other racing games, it's still worth trying. From races to getaways, every inch of gameplay is unique and every single way and this is worth a thriller you're going to get hooked on. It may not be enough to launch provocations against the opposition but NFS Payback is one of the reasons why we all love the Need For Speed games to the end.

Need For Speed (2015 game)

Need For Speed (PS4)

Need For Speed (XBOX One)

The longest-running hardcore car racing franchise is back and now, the latest Need For Speed game delivers the ultimate definition of car culture where everyone can express their love of cars not as a car enthusiast but as a driver who live out driving as their personal hobby.

Drivers are welcomed in the nocturnal open-world landscape of Ventura Bay as they are free to do whatever the heck they want with their rides. In the new NFS, there are many ways to enjoy Ventura Bay you like as demonstrated by the biggest names in the car culture scene. You can race against your rivals, outrun the cops, perform stunts, customize your ride to make it unique, and form alliances so you'll never race alone.

From Japanese street tuners, European saloons, American muscle cars, to supercars, every car in Need For Speed is unique to the driver and to make them even more unique, they can customize it any way they like.

Yes, customization is mentioned and in Need For Speed, you now have many ways to customize your ride from visuals to performance upgrades.

On the visual side, drivers can personalize it with body kits, wheels, aero parts, and of course, paint jobs. Although the new feature feels a bit limited, creating paint jobs for their favorite cars adds a nice impression to show the world your favorite car looks like. As for performance, feel free to upgrade whatever suits the situation such as adding more power, making it more driftable, more easier to handle, whatever floats you boat but remember, all cars differ to their performance so experiment upgrading with different rides and find out which setup fits your next race or which is great for escaping the cops.

Thanks to next-generation gaming, the graphics never felt more realistic than ever before and the way you play NFS is nothing like you've ever played before. That's an upside for this game as well as the customizations and many others but the downside goes to the choice of cars. Sure, you might have early access to future machines such as the all-new Ford Focus RS and the BMW M2 Coupe but while the current NFS car lineup is a great start, it feels somewhat lacking. Let's hope some DLC will remedy it but its too early to tell so you have to make do with all the rides offered in-game.

Another downside is when playing off-line, single-player gameplay is allowed but if you want to connect to multiplayer, you need subscription to either PlayStation Plus or XBOX Live Gold to do so, which is kinda lame because we miss the split-screen multiplayer goodness where you and your friends can enjoy this game anytime.

Although this may not be one of the best racing games of 2015, the newly reborn NFS game is a sure fire way to attract car lovers who share their passion for the car culture scene and with car culture is the key essence of this game, this is definitely the NFS game you want to have if you're a series veteran or newcomer alike.

Need For Speed is now available on the PS4 and XBOX One, and coming Spring 2016 for the PC.

Need For Speed (2014 film)

For some unknown reasons, one of the best-selling EA franchises in history, the Need For Speed franchise, has spawned a movie version like any other video game franchises in the world rarely spawn theatrical films for numerous reasons but for those who are looking to watch one of the latest action films in time before your annual spring break draws near, it could be it because the Need For Speed movie is all about speed and revenge. Is it something that really turned you on?

Need For Speed

Although the film has nothing to do with all the Need For Speed video games from the past to present, it's worth enjoyable to watch because in this movie, Aaron Paul, familiar by many as Jesse Pinkman from the concluded Breaking Bad TV series, is the perfect actor to play a role in the movie. Aaron Paul played the role of Tobey Marshall, a man who runs a family business, an auto shop to be precise, and street races with his pals in his free time until tragedy struck him. He was framed for the crime he didn't commit and two years later...he was freed from prison and plans revenge against whoever framed him. He takes on the "De Leon" race, similar to The Run from 2011's NFS The Run video game, which is a cross-country high-stakes street race that spans across the United States. Armed with the highly-customized Ford Mustang to the teeth, Toeby will risk everything to take down anyone who stands in his way and win the De Leon race to save his family business.

This NFS movie combines elements from car movies of different eras, making it a unique high-octane movie you would never disappoint, especially for NFS fans of all ages. To add it to a mix, the NFS movie features a wide range of unfamiliar and familiar stars including Dominic Cooper, who played the role of a bad guy named Dino Brewster, Imogen Poots as Julia Bonet, Scott Mescudi, Ramon Rodriguez, Rami Malek, and many others. But it's not just about that because while the Need For Speed franchise is all about cars, IT's ALL ABOUT CARS. Period. Aside from the Ford Mustang being the hero car of the film, the one Tobey drives in the De Leon race, it features a million-dollar feast of hyperexotics ranging from the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento (which is Dino's vehicle of choice), the Saleen S7, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, the Koenigsegg Agera R, the Spanish-made GTA Spano, the hybrid-engine wielding McLaren P1, and so much more. What boggles me is that because those ultra-expensive supercars were featured, the producers told me that no actual supercars, like the P1 or the Agera or the Veyron or any other million-dollar exotics featured in the film, were harmed during the making of the film. That's a mystery...because they used re-bodied versions rather than real ones because it would be too pricey to wreck the real ones while filming the film.

If I had a comment; how come this movie doesn't have Porsches? Sure, EA may have the exclusivity for Porsches but why did they not show up on the Need For Speed movie? Well, EA, do you have something to say? You may have exclusivity for Porsches but how come they never get the star treatment for the Need For Speed movie? It's their time to shine and not that whole Mustang and Koenigsegg and all of that million-dollar exotic nonsense because over the past few years, Porsches have always been the representative of the Need For Speed world and how come, after all those years of being an EA-exclusive, they never showed up in a film based on one of the fastest-selling video game franchises from EA? If the Need For Speed film isn't all about Porsches, who cares?

For an added surprise in the NFS movie, a 2015 Ford Mustang was making an easter egg in the film. If you spotted this "easter egg" car in the Need For Speed movie, what do you think? Well, since the 2015 Ford Mustang is officially an EA-exclusive ever since it made its first appearance on Need For Speed Rivals last year on a free update, it stays an EA-exclusive. Sorry...

So, with all of that, I give a rating of a good-ish 3.5 out of 5. Still, it's worth enjoyable to see one though so don't worry about this film not showing too many Porsches like what most NFS games do because it's so cool...you may want to see this film over and over and over...

Need For Speed Rivals

Need For Speed Rivals (PS3)

Need For Speed Rivals (XBOX 360)

The latest entry in the Need For Speed franchise, titled Need For Speed Rivals, gives this franchise an ingenious spin and it's loaded with new and returning features NFS fans would salivated for but is the new NFS game worth the try?

NFSR raises the stakes of rivalry in Redview County where cops and racers wage a war in the streets and throwing everything they got to get in their way. To make this game a little bit riskier, NFSR comes with a new scoring system that lets players risk their speed points for higher multipliers and greater rewards such as new cars and pursuit/evasion technology. The more challenging it become, the more you'll get but get busted by the cops, you'll lose all the hard work you've done but if you want to avoid this situation, make sure you evade the pursuit and then bank them when you return to the hideout. Being a racer is all about the thrills in NFSR and using your wits and your driving style, outgunning the cops and racers is a bit of a challenge.

Not only NFSR lets you be a racer but you can also be the cop. That's right. BE THE COP. Feels like Hot Pursuit but with some ingenious spin on it. As a cop, you'll need some cooperation with your fellow coppers if you want to score some speed points by busting racers using the long arm of the law. You'll start as a Patrol unit and as a cop, there are numerous assignments to complete and as you'll progress, you be up the ranks as an Enforcer and if you're too good to be a cop, you'll be reaching the ultimate rank for cops: UNDERCOVER. Undercover cops will take advantage of powerful cop cars but facing more difficult assignments than the previous two ranks.

Cop or racer, it's the competition you'll be going to blow away and take advantage of both sides if you want to get ahead of the competition. As you cleared numerous Assignments as a cop or Speedlists as a racer, you can unlock new cars you can purchase it with your SpeedPoints. Pursuit and Evasion technology are all available at the start but you have to buy them and as you progress, you can unlock more powerful tech suitable for pursuit and evasion purposes.

As a racer, one thing you'll notice is the return of personalization and in the beginning, you can personalize your car by changing the color, rims, and license plate. You can use SpeedPoints to buys some personalization stuff such as stripes, decals, liveries, and performance parts.

For cops and racers, NFSR offers a wide variety of cars offered; most available for both, some available for racers only, and few available only for cops. You can expect hosts of new car such as the new Porsche 911 GT3, Porsche Cayman S, Audi R8 V10 plus, McLaren P1, Koenigsegg Agera R, SLS AMG Black Series, Camaro ZL1, Corvette C7, Aventador, GT500 Mustang, Aston Martin Vanquish, SRT Viper, and so much more. More importantly, Ferrari makes a comeback to the world of NFS and this comeback is spearheaded by Ferrari's new V12 flagship, the F12berlinetta. There are numerous Ferraris available such as the 458, 599 GTO, FF, and the Enzo. Whichever car you'll choose, the differences are all up to you.

Yes, some cars in this game are unlockable through progress but if you're a lazy man, you can spend under $10 for an add-on called Timesaver Pack. Yes. Timesaver Pack, the lazy man's choice. Buy this DLC and most of the cars unlockable through progressions are all yours. Just remember you still have to buy these cars and tech using your SpeedPoints.

There's an even bigger surprise in store in the car lineup because there's a special Ford Mustang, to be featured in next year's Need For Speed movie, making a special appearance in the game. How can you find this special machine? Well, it's all up to you, buddy.

The most important part of NFSR is the new Alldrive feature, where you can join alongside online players who are already racing and chasing, making single-player and multiplayer a thing in a past. No lobbies, no waiting; you and the other online players all share the same game, same race, and same chase. It's kinda like the Time Shift Multiplayer from Real Racing 3, except it's more difficult than ever.

What's more noticing is the NFS Network powered by Autolog. It's more than just a companion app, the NFS Network allows you to connect, compare, and compete with your friends. It checks how much you progressed through NFSR and with OverWatch, you can either help or hinder your friends. To try this feature, log in at https://network.needforspeed.com/ or get the app from the iOS App Store or Google Play for Android. Looks like connectivity is the name of the game here...

So, what can I say about NFSR? Well, it maybe more like Hot Pursuit but with some ingenious spin that will make players keep playing for more until they beat it, it has all of the cars suitable for cops and racers alike, it's good to see Ferrari back in the franchise, and overall, it's more hardcore as you take the risks. It takes some guts and determination to edge out the competition here at Redview County.

It's now available on the PS3 and XBOX 360. The PS4 version is the launch title for the PS4's North American debut. Of course, North America is the first to get PS4 while Japan will have to wait till February 2014. As for the XBOX One version, one of the launch title but it will be here this week following with the launch of the XBOX One.

2014 Ford Fiesta ST in NFSMW

The 2012 version of Need For Speed Most Wanted is the best NFS game ever at it garnered several awards and recognition but such success wasn't quite enough. Back in December, they've launched the Ultimate Speed DLC which features five hypercars that is too fast to break the law. Now, they've launched THREE new DLC packs on NFSMW! THREE DLC PACKS! It's available NOW on the PS3 and XBOX 360 while PC owners will have to wait till March 12.

Since the 918 Spyder Prototype is the Most Wanted car, that shouldn't be a problem for you if you have the right car to take down this nimble Porsche.

Second is the NFS HEROES pack which comes with five iconic cars that are sacred to the NEED FOR SPEED HISTORY such as the Lamborghini Diablo SV, the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 from Underground, Nissan 350Z from Underground 2, Porsche 911 GT2 RS, and (you'll gonna love this) the BMW M3 GTR. Need For Speed Most Wanted (2012)

Need For Speed Most Wanted
(XBOX 360)

Need For Speed Most Wanted
(PS Vita)

Need For Speed Most Wanted
(Playstation3)

The original Need For Speed Most Wanted, launched in 2005, is one of the most thrilling Need For Speed titles ever made thanks to the thrilling high-speed escape against the law enforcement that are trying to stop you. We had fun flushing down the Blacklist 15 and then taking out some of the world's finest cars for a joyride of becoming the Most Wanted.

Now, in 2012, forget about anything about the old Most Wanted because, there's a new Need For Speed Most Wanted game arrived and this new game is developed by Criterion Games, the people behind the memorable Burnout series and 2010's NFS Hot Pursuit game.

This game though, there's no Mia, there's no Razor. and there's not even the Blacklist 15. The cars are the stars of this game and when you begin the game, all the cars in Most Wanted will be yours for the taking. That's right, this is a free roaming game having all of the cars available when you start working your way becoming the most wanted in Fairhaven City. Ranging from fast supercars such as the Aston Martin V12 Vantage and Pagani Huayra, convertibles such as the Audi R8 GT Spyder and Lamborghini Gallardo Performante, muscle cars such as the Camaro ZL1 and Corvette ZR1, heavyweight champions such as the Ford SVT Raptor and Range Rover Evoque, to blistering lightweights such as the BAC Mono and the Ariel Atom V8. They're all yours! All you have to do if find a "jack spot" and once you found it, it's yours. There are events made for the vehicle of your choice and when you finished a race, you'll get speed points that you need for the necessary modifications such as the ability for fast cars to go offroad, lightweights to have increased strengths, and so much more.

What's also convenient is this Easydrive feature, which you can modify cars while on the move. It sure is convenient but that saves you because by the time you're approaching a road block, best to have the impact protection ready or even, when you hit a spike strip, quickly equip the run flat tires before you got busted.

Sure, all the cars in Most Wanted are yours for the taking but is the car of your choice fit enough to take on the MOST WANTED? There are 10 MOST WANTED cars to take on such as the Shelby Cobra, Lamborghini Aventador, Lexus LFA, or even the Alfa Romeo 4C Concept. If you're good enough, you can take on the MOST WANTED and if you win, you have the chance to shut that car for good, and when you shut that car down, like when you totaled it with a massive crash, then it's yours to keep.

The new NFSMW game though it maybe as better than the 2005 NFSMW game I played from the past and the multiplayer feature is top notch. No menus, no lobbies, all you have to do is find a meetup point and then you're off to get some Speed Points needed.

Which reminds me, if you are so thirsty for all the cars, there's the Time Savers Pack coming. This DLC will grant you access to all of the cars in multiplayer and on single player gameplay, all the Jack Spots throughout Fairhaven City are marked on your map so you can find the car you've always wanted to have. All is left now is the 10 Most Wanted Cars to take them down one by one.

The new NFSMW is going to be more thrilling than its predecessor and it's going to be sending your pulse beating even further when you're trying to evade the law. It's going to be one of the best NFS titles ever made. Let's Make some Trouble!

A Russian supercar is going to be featured in Most Wanted

Marussia B2

While every Need For Speed fan is craving for the upcoming Most Wanted video game, to be on sale in late 2012, there's another twist for this upcoming game. THEY'VE ADDED A RUSSIAN CAR! That's right! Need For Speed became the first to feature a Russian car! Specifically, this. the Marussia B2.

What's Marussia? Marussia was a Russian sports car maker founded by a former racing driver Nikolay Fomenko, renowned brand strategist Efim Ostrovsky, and award-winning technology entrepreneur Andrey Cheglakov in 2007. This company may be small but they have big dreams ever since the unveiling of its maiden car, the B1, in Moscow since 2008.

The Marussia B2 was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt International Motor Show and it serves as an evolution of Russia's first supercar.Under the bonnet lies a turbocharged 2.8L Cosworth engine that develops either 360 or 420HP of power and 600Nm of torque. In max power mode, this car can go 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds and it can go over 250kph (150mph) of top speed. A 3.5L V6 engine was also offered, which generates 300HP of power.

Because it only weighs about 1100kg and armed with a pushrod suspension, the Marussia B2 makes it perfect to slip past against your rivals. Not only that, this is perfect when you're being chased by the cops because of the handling that makes you slip past law enforcers.

Need For Speed Most Wanted is coming this October 2012.

Under, the hood, the MC Stradale comes with the 4.7L V8 engine that was improved to have 450HP of power and 510Nm of torque. It can do naught to 60 in 4.6 seconds and top speed of 187MPH. To make it more race-oriented, the GranTurismo MC Stradale retains the original 48:52 weight distribution for balanced handling and even tyre wear. The rear seats from the original Maserati GranTurismo has been stripped off, all in the case of saving weight and this is the first to have Race Mode that even sharpens throttle response and gear changes.

The Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale is part of the all new Need For Speed THE RUN Italian Edition Pack, now available at the PlayStation Store and XBOX Live Marketplace. Go back to THE RUN and experience this racecar-oriented long distance cruiser!

The Run of Diablo SV

Lamborghini Diablo SV

Name: Lamborghini Diablo SV

Nationality: Italian

Top Speed: 200MPH

0-60 Time: 4.1 seconds

BHP: 510 @ 7,100 RPM

Performance: Tier 4

Handling: Challenging

Class: Exotic

Drivetrain: RWD

Manufacture Year: 1995

Description:
Launched in the 1995 Geneva Motor Show, the Diablo SV revived the Super Veloce naming from the Miura SV and this is known to be the entry-level version of the legendary Lamborghini Diablo. Because this car doesn't have AWD, the power of the 510HP engine can't keep up with the Traction, making it riskier to handling the Diablo SV. Notable features from the Diablo SV includes an adjustable rear spoiler, black tail lamp surrounds, repositioned rear fog and reverse lamps, extra set of brake cooling ducts, ducted engine lid, and optional SV vinyls.

Back in 1998, Lamborghini launched the Diablo SV Monterey Edition, which is a limited run to 20 units available exclusively at the United States.

The Lamborghini Diablo SV is part of the all new Need For Speed THE RUN Italian Edition Pack, available now at either PlaystationStore or XBOX Marketplace. Return to THE RUN and try it.

The Run of Gallardo Superleggera

Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera

Name: Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera

Nationality: Italian

Top Speed: 193 MPH

0-60 Time: 3.4s

BHP: 542 @ 8000 RPM

Performance: Tier 4

Handling: Easy

Class: Exotic

Drivetrain: AWD

Manufacture Year: 2010

Description:
The first Gallardo Superleggera came out in the 2007 Geneva Motor Show and it was a tribute to the first Lamborghini production model, the 350GT. However, despite that Superleggera is Italian for "Super Light", this model doesn't have a super light constructed body. What the original Superleggera has an improved engine intake, sports exhaust, and an ECU, generating 523HP of power. Production began in mid-2007 and up to early 2008, totaling 172 units built. Two years later, the Superleggera name has been reborn and it was based on the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4. The new Gallardo Superleggera uses carbon fiber inside and out, providing 2,954lbs of weight, making this the lightest Lamborghini ever built for the enthusiast.

The V10 engine on the Gallardo Superleggera produces 542BHP of power and it can do 0-60 in 3.4 seconds, that is faster than the Lamborghini Gallardo Balboni.

This car is part of the all new Need For Speed THE RUN Italian Edition Pack, available now at either PlaystationStore or XBOX Marketplace. Take advantage of its lightweight body! Seems that bully's gone for a diet!

The Run of Boss 302 Mustang 2012

2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302

Name: Ford Mustang Boss 302

Nationality: American

Top Speed: 155 MPH

0 to 60 Time: 5.1 seconds

BHP: 444 @ 7,400RPM

Performance: Tier 2

Handling: Very Difficult

Class: Muscle

Drivetrain: RWD

Manufacture Year: 2012

Description:
For the Ford Mustang's 2012 Model Year, the Boss 302 nameplate has been reborn and it uses the Ford Mustang GT V8 variant as its foundation. Although I do think that the Boss 302 Mustang is a sort of "in-the-middle" version of the legendary Mustang name. Why? Because it's sharper and faster than the regular Mustang but not as aggressive as the Shelby GT500. Anyway, this model uses the Mustang's V8 engine and it was tuned to have 444BHP of power. Best of all, it comes with Brembo front calipers and rotors, 3.73:1 limited slip differential, and an adjustable suspension that allows owners to switch through different modes for that "One Track Mind".

In The Run, it served as Eddie Cooke's main car, which is a boss at the start of Stage 10 (East Coast). Watch out because while you're facing against him at Tumbling Run, PA, his Boss 302 is one heck of a cornering maniac! Strategy is important!

The Murcielago is dead. Long live the Aventador! With the success of Lamborghinis in the past that span half a century with V12 engines as their signature dish, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 continues the legendary tradition with its all new 6.5L V12 engine that produces 690BHP, which in Lamborghini math, it says 700. It can go 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds and flat-out, it can do 217MPH. Upon its world premiere at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the Aventador became the star of the show and no wonder that a full-year supply of Aventador models have already been asked for, in short, SOLD OUT! Unlike most Lamborghinis in the past that focused only on Top Speed and leaving Handling as a low priority, the Aventador is different. It's now focused only on cornering, leaving top speed a low priority, but this car still cares about acceleration. It features a seven-speed paddle shift transmission, push-rod suspension, and carbon fiber monocoque.

Those who've already bought NFS The Run Limited Edition are going to enjoy the Aventador. It's all about "Conquering The Bull" and this could be an ideal weapon for the master.

The Run of Pagani Huayra

Pagani Huayra

Nationality: Italian

Top Speed: 227 MPH (365kph)

0 - 60 time: 3.4 seconds

BHP: 700 @ 6,000 rpm

Performance: Tier 5

Handling: Normal

Class: Supercar

Drivetrain: RWD

Manufacture Year: 2011

Description:
The Pagani Huayra is the Zonda replacement that ushered in the new age of the Italian supercar brand and this was named after Huayra-Tata, the god of wind from the Aymara legends. It made a world premiere at the 2011 Geneva Auto Salon in March.

The Pagani Huayra is powered by a 6.0L Mercedes-AMG M158 V12 twin-Turbo engine that produces over 700BHP of power and over 1,000Nm of torque. It can go 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and flat-out, the Huayra blows away in 227 MPH (365kph). It is mated with a transverse sequential seven speed gearbox with AMT robotized system. The Huayra weighs 1.350 kg and it has a 44:56 weight distribution.

According to the founder of Pagani, this car is made of more than 4,000 components that requires creativity, patience, and passion that Pagani shared with a fantastic young team and with the most competent partner in various sectors.

When we last saw this car as a Limited Edition bonus of Need For Speed Shift 2 Unleashed, this car is now a Need For Speed exclusive and now it carries on to Need For Speed The Run. NFS fans should be familiar about the Huayra but for first-timers, it takes mastery to control the Huayra in order for players to get through New York, fast! I mean, can I explain the rear spitting fire as I hit nitrous on it? Pretty cool huh? I never know that the Huayra is the next best thing for Pagani! I am really amazed the raw ferocity of the Huayra and this car's just like the Zonda. It looks scary to drive but they don't.

Need for Speed: The RUN

Need for Speed: The RUN

Prepare for the biggest cross-country race from San Francisco to New York that will leave your hearts shattered, sending your minds in spiral, and it will leave you in excessive daydreaming about this greatest battle of your life.

Need for Speed: The RUN, takes players on the role of Jack Rourke, a man who is taking on The RUN, a cross-country race from San Francisco to New York with no rules, no speed limits, zero allies! Be warned. Cops and villains want you dead and the reason why you're taking the risk is because you want to correct the biggest mistake you have done.

This game is all about survival of the fastest. You are Jack's competitive edge and you must take out your rivals in this cross-country bloodbath from The Golden Gate Bridge to The Empire State Building, surviving against the villains who want you dead, the cops who are chasing you, and of course the forces of nature. How far can you survive in this 3000 miles of hell?

The biggest stars of NFS: The RUN are the cars themselves. A half-a-century of cars is all you need if you want to get through New York with a selection of tuners, muscles, and exotics from Europe, America, and Asia. Drift through tight curves with the Toyota AE86, get through straight corners with the Boss 302 Mustang, or go all out with the Bugatti Veyron. There are a selection of cars you want to shove it down your rivals throat either on Story Mode, Challenge Series, or online!

With NFS Autolog, every second counts and Autolog monitors your every progress and see if you are the fastest person who made it from San Francisco to New York. Happily though, you can take photos, challenge against your rivals based on your skill, and show everyone who's boss.

Want to unlock all the cars and challenges but being lazy enough to progress through The RUN? Don't worry though that the Time Savers Pack is coming! The Time Savers Pack is a DLC that allows you to unlock most of the stuff that can be earned through the normal game progression. Maybe here's your chance to try out the Pagani Huayra you're dreaming about?

Don't forget that two Sports Illustrated swimsuit models Irina Shayk and Chrissy Teigen are making special appearances on The RUN because hot cars and women do really have a one-two combo.

NFS The Run stars Sean Faris from The Vampire Diaries as Jack Rourke and Christina Hendricks from Mad Men and Drive as Sam Harper.

LIMITED EDITION:
Want to have the edge to get through New York? NFS The RUN Limited Edition gives you access to the latest vehicles such as the ferocious Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, the new Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and for the first time, you can try out the all new 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S (Type 991)!
