FUUTO PI: Kamen Rider Skull no Shouzou

FUUTO PI, the animated continuation of the 2009 Kamen Rider TV series, Kamen Rider W, returns, this time at the cinemas as the trio are facing their most daring case yet.

FUUTO PI: Kamen Rider Skull no Shouzou

FUUTO PI: Kamen Rider Skull no Shouzou, the movie continuation of the FUUTO PI anime series, picks up moments from the TV anime where Shutaro Hidari and Phillip are gripping themselves in the shadows of Shokichi Narumi, better known as Kamen Rider Skull.

The most shadowy Rider from Kamen Rider W finally made his anime appearance. Apart from his long-awaited return to the world of FUUTO PI, the suspense and drama truly overshadowed the duo's hard-boiled atmosphere, where the fun stops and the terror begins. For Kamen Rider W fans, this movie is the ultimate in suspense and action.

As the FUUTO PI manga series nears its climax, this movie clearly reminds them that it is a blessing and a curse for those who are extreme fans of the Kamen Rider W saga. It is a sign of things to come.

Shin Kamen Rider

Following the footsteps of Shin Evangelion, Shin Godzilla, and last year's Shin Ultraman, the legendary 1971 Japanese tokusatsu TV series, Kamen Rider, gets the "Shin" treatment. The Shin Japan Heroes Universe gets a newest addition and it's going to be a "shocker" for everyone willing to watch this film. Get it? Shocker.

Shin Kamen Rider

Shin Kamen Rider is a fresh new take on the legendary 70s tokusatsu icon that showcases the dramatic side of the legendary superhero while following the similar recipe as the other Shin Japan Heroes Universe movies.

Just like the legendary TV series, the story centers on a man named Takeshi Hongo, who was abducted by the sinister organization named SHOCKER and got himself "upgraded" into a shadowy vigilante the world knows. Armed with the belt known as the Typhoon, the vigilante known himself as Kamen Rider vows to save humanity from the cruel acts of SHOCKER.

Sticking to the Kamen Rider principle, this dramatic take on the iconic tokusatsu superhero is all about saving humanity one kick at the time because kicking has become the mantra of the Kamen Rider franchise since the 1971 TV series this movie is based from. Whlist the kicks, this movie is kicking with suspense, thrills, and emotions fans and moviegoers will never forget. The familiar recipe from the Shin Japan Heroes Universe is coming on strong with this movie because this is poetic justice personified and it's a beautiful thing.

From start to finish, Shin Kamen Rider is no doubt one of the must-watch films of the season because with such experience this movie delivers, this is the main reason why the world's gone nuts with the Kamen Rider universe. This is butt-kicking from start to finish and you'll have plenty of guilty pleasures before, during, and after watching this movie. It's a weapons-grade force to be recoked with.

Kamen Rider Geats x Revice MOVIE BATTLE ROYALE

Now that everybody's familiar with Kamen Rider Geats, the fourth Reiwa Kamen Rider TV series, looks like it's time to go beyond the Desire Grand Prix from the series because Geats and the others are up against...the familiar ones.

Kamen Rider Geats x Revice
MOVIE BATTLE ROYALE

Arrived in time before Christmas, the latest Kamen Rider crossover movie saw the Riders from the latest series facing familiar faces in a deadly battle royale fans are familiar with.

Titled Kamen Rider Geats x Revice MOVIE BATTLE ROYALE, Geats and the others are battling against the likes of Revi, Vice, Ryuki, and the other riders in a deadly battle royale where the last rider wins it all. However, this battle royale game gets a plot twist; a new rider named Kamen Rider Sicker wields the Powered Builder Buckle and Gigant Buckle in the Desire Driver.

This battle royale the riders are onto really takes the fans back because this movie saw the riders battle like it's 2002, the year Masked Rider Ryuki was aired. A fitting climax to Ryuki's 20th anniversary tribute this movie is and it reminds the world that there can only be one Kamen Rider.

It's common sense but it's still a fun movie to watch while spending the rest of the Christmas vacation with the family and because this is a Kamen Rider movie, it's worth being the talk of the town.

A Kamen Rider battle royale movie featuring Geats, Revi, Vice, and Ryuki; it's the ideal action thriller the whole family can enjoy and is worth talking about after watching it. This is why the world loves the Kamen Rider universe. It's a cruel universe but it packs some serious kicking from start to finish.

2021 is a landmark year for TOEI's tokusatsu franchises, Kamen Rider and Super Sentai Series, and in honor of such double milestones, the biggest tokusatsu crossover ever envisioned by the folks of TOEI has unleashed and it's definitely it's the biggest score ever pulled in the midst of the midsummer weirdness going on around Japan.

Kamen Rider Saber x Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger
Superhero Senki

The ultimate TOEI tokusatsu crossover score is called Superhero Senki and this is the result of 32 Kamen Rider installments and 45 Super Sentai installments coming together for the big score that will blow tokusatsu fans away.

So, what's this big score about? Yes, it all starts with the characters from both the ongoing TV shows, Kamen Rider Saber and Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger ended up on the opposite sides of the world and then there's this powerful villain plotting to destroy the world. This is where the most ambitious tokusatsu crossover comes to life as 83 heroes from both franchises join forces to save the world.

What a way to celebrate such a landmark year for the two tokusatsu giants. 2021 marked the Kamen Rider franchise's 50th anniversary and also the year the 45th Super Sentai TV show, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, went on air, and they've celebrated this very milestone with this ambitious team-up that can't be erased by a snap of a finger. Kamen Rider Reiwa The First Generation

Fans of the Kamen Rider franchise are now already getting the hang of the first Reiwa era Kamen Rider TV program, titled Kamen Rider Zero-One, and as fans are getting familiarized to the beat of Aruto Hiden, a young chap who ended up being the CEO of Hiden Intelligence and vowed to restore balance between men and Humagears as Zero-One, this year's Hero Taisen series pits between the first Reiwa Rider and the last Heisei Rider, Kamen Rider Zi-O, in an epic struggle to uncover the biggest conspiracy forever changed Aruto's life.

Reiwa The First Generation is the latest Kamen Rider crossover film where our favorite young CEO uncovers the truth about what happened 12 years ago but the incident Aruto witnessed is not what it seems and with the Zi-O Trinity arrived on the scene, there's so much to uncover the truth.

The movie features new enemies to battle including a Rider wielding a Cyclone Riser whose identity forever rattled Aruto's mind. Yep, his Humagear father who died in the incident 12 years ago emerged from the shadows as a Kamen Rider and now, he's going to battle him. To make matters worse, a shadowy new Timejacker emerged, unleashing two new Another Riders to wreck havoc in the story. But the worst of all is, viewers get to witnessed the dark side of Zero-One when armed with the Metsuboujinrai Force Riser, the Rider belt used by the Metsuboujinrai.net terrorists Jin and Horobi.

Worthy of a supplement story to the the freshly new Kamen Rider installment, Reiwa The First Generation is a darker but thrilling Kamen Rider crossover movie where everything we know about the series' main character forever changed upon witnessing the incident by his perspective and the new enemies affecting the balance of power. Seeing one will leave the entire family of movie goers blow their minds and this crossover movie really hits where it goes. One look and fans will never forget the biggest twist this film unfolds.

Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER

The Heisei era is coming to an end but the stories that occurred during that time will be remembered forever. The same thing goes to the Kamen Riders of the Heisei era as the latest installment of TOEI's Movie Taisen series pays tribute to all of the Heisei Riders as they are taking their one last hurrah to save the world from a powerful new enemy.

Kamen Rider
Heisei Generations FOREVER

Heisei Generations FOREVER pays tribute to all of the Heisei era Kamen Riders from Kuuga to Zi-O as all of the Riders joined forces to battle against the most powerful adversary plotting to erase their existence in a snap. Rings a bell, huh?

While the film features most of the memorable characters from the Heisei-era Kamen Rider TV series including Zi-O's Sogo Tokiwa, Geiz Myoukouin, Tsukuyomi, and Woz, and Build's Sento Kiryu, Ryuga Banjo, Kazumi Sawatari, and Gentoku Himuro, among many others, it features original characters such as a young Kamen Rider enthusiast, a mysterious Imagin named Futaros and a powerful new villain known as the Super Time Jacker Teed, trying to erase the existence of Heisei era Kamen Riders in a snap.

Also, Zi-O battles against new Another Riders never seen on the Kamen Rider Zi-O TV series such as Another W, Another DEN-O, and the baddest of all of the Another Riders, Another Kuuga. Such fierce battles deserve fierce upgrades and Zi-O, along with numerous Ride Watches he and Geiz collected along the way, is armed with movie-exclusive armors such as the W Armor  and the Kuuga Armor. Won't spoil how he done it but expect epic fight scenes along the way.

The appearances of all of the Heisei era Kamen Riders in the film really is the most ambitious sendoff ever pulled off for the whole moviegoers, especially Rider fans, to see and while it's about as close as you can get from the Infinity War, it's a great honor for the fans to see their favorite childhood Rider heroes once more as they have reached their endgame they will never forget. The thrills, the suspense, the epic fight scenes, this film knows how to end this era with a bang and while it wasn't large scale as such, fans are happy that they are part of the endgame the Riders ever pulled off.

My rating: 3.9 out of 5.

Getting to know the Riders from the Heisei Generations universe

As Build ends, ZI-O begins as the world prepares for the arrival of the 20th and final Heisei-era Kamen Rider this September, let's kick through time to know about the Kamen Riders of the Heisei Generations universe from the Kuuga to ZI-O, from the first to the last.

Kamen Rider Heisei Generations

Masked Rider Kuuga (2000) - The dawn of the 21st century signals the rebirth of Kamen Rider in a modernized take on the legendary Toei tokusatsu franchise based on a Shotaro Ishinomori manga. Masked Rider Kuuga is the first of the Heisei-era Riders and it's about a young adventurer who witnessed some flashbacks upon touching the Henshin Belt called Arcle and by arming it, he becomes Masked Rider Kuuga as he fights back against an ancient race of monsters.

Masked Rider Agito (2001) - Following the success of Kuuga, TOEI introduced us to its successor for the year 2001, Agito. The story takes place where a mysterious organism was spotted in Okinawa and then a bizarre case of murders come in. This is no ordinary case as the police labeled those mysterious beings that attacked the humans as "Unknown". This is where the three Masked Riders comes in as the tale of Shoichi Tsugami, Makoto Hikawa, and Ryo Ashihara begins as Agito, G3, and Gils.

Masked Rider Ryuki (2002) - Featuring a roster of 13 Riders involved in a deadly battle royale, Ryuki is about a man named Shinji Kido who works at a certain news outlet until mysterious monsters showed up in the Mirror World. Armed with the V Buckle, a Dragvisor, and a deck of cards, Shinji enters the Mirror World as Masked Rider Ryuki and defeat those monsters. However, he gets entangled in a deadly deathmatch where Riders must fight themselves to the finish.

Masked Rider 555 (2003) - Cellphones became the theme of this 2003 Masked Rider TV show called Masked Rider 555/Faiz. In this show, mysterious creatures known as the Orphnoch are lurking around the human race. A man named Takumi Inui encountered a girl who wears a bag similar to the one that was stolen from and when attacked by an Orphnoch, Takumi unleashed what's inside a stolen bag is Smart Brain's secret weapon; the Faiz Gear. This is where Faiz is born. Now, not only Smart Brain but also the Orphnochs are hunting down the device Takumi possesses.

Masked Rider Blade (2004) - The 2004 Masked Rider show brings back the card feature from Ryuki but now even fiercer as in this show, a horde of monsters known as the Undead are lurking in the dark and only a trio of Riders, armed with a killer deck of cards, are shuffling themselves to defeat those supernatural threats.

Masked Rider Hibiki (2005) - The 2005 Masked Rider show features the theme of musical instruments and ninjitsu. One day, a middle school boy named Asumu Adachi was visiting Yakushima until he saw a monster attacking a girl and then later saved by a mysterious young man named Hibiki, who happened to wield a mystical instrument to transform himself into a Kamen Rider.

Masked Rider Kabuto (2006) - Seven years ago, an asteroid made impact in Shibuya. Not only the damage was catastrophic but it has spawned worm-like creatures that can camouflage themselves as humans by devouring them. As the Worm plague continues, humanity has formed a top-secret organization called ZECT and because conventional weapons wouldn't budge against the Worms, they've devised a reinforced armor called the Masked Rider System. Apprentice ZECT member Soji Tendo encountered someone who wields the Masked Rider System, trying to defeat the Worm, and his tale as Kabuto begins.

Masked Rider DEN-O (2007) - Bullet trains became the theme for the 2007 Masked Rider show and in this show, it centers on protagonist Ryotaro Nogami who was destined to save the future as Kamen Rider DEN-O while possessing the power of "Imagines" such as Momotaros, Urataros, Kintaros, and Ryutaros.

Masked Rider Kiva (2008) - For 2008, Kamen Rider meets vampires in this installment that centers on the tale of a young violin craftsman Wataru Kurenai, who was rattled by the string of the Bloody Rose, a violin left by his father and the rise of the Fang Gaia tribe plotting to take over mankind. Aided by his trusty companion Kibat, he transforms into Masked Rider Kiva as he takes on the Fang Gaia monsters and uncover his destiny.

Masked Rider Decade (2009) - Decade is the landmark installment of the Kamen Rider franchise for he is the tenth Rider of the Heisei Generations universe. A young girl named Natsumi had a dream where one Rider was vanquished by nine Riders and if that wasn't enough, Tsukasa Kadoya is revealed that he is the Rider from her dreams; he is Decade. Singer Gackt performed the theme songs of this landmark installment where Decade can transform into past Riders using the Decadriver.

Kamen Rider Double (2009) - Two men can become one Rider in this 11th installment of the Heisei Generations universe where, for the first time, the "Masked" word was dropped in favor of using the "Kamen" on the title for general basis. It's also the most fun installment as two men, Shutaro Hidari and Phillip, get into a hilarious, mystery-solving, rollercoaster ride as they solve mysteries behind the Gaia Tower while utilizing the power of Gaia Memory sticks as the two main characters join forces to become Kamen Rider Double.

Kamen Rider OOO (2010) - At the turn of the decade, a new Kamen Rider emerges and it's anything goes for Kamen Rider OOO (pronounced O's) as the story centers on Eiji Hino, a young man who got caught in a mess until a Greed named Ankh provided him three core medals and an OOO Driver for Eiji to transform himself as, you guessed it, Kamen Rider OOO. As OOO, he battles against different kinds of Greeds trying to take over the world.

Kamen Rider Fourze (2011) - Honoring the Kamen Rider franchise's 40th anniversary, this 2011 installment features space as its main theme as it centers on a transfer student named Gentaro Kisaragi who begins his life at his new school, Amanogawa High School, until he became the unlikely hero of the campus as he battles the Zodiarts as Kamen Rider Fourze. J-Pop singer Anna Tsuchiya performed the theme song of this space-themed Kamen Rider show.

Kamen Rider Wizard (2012) - True to the name of the show, this 2012 Kamen Rider installment is all about wizardry as main character Haruto Soma puts in a show by wielding his own brand of sorcery against the Phantoms as Kamen Rider Wizard. As Wizard, he can use the power of Wizard Rings to control fire, water, land, and air.

Kamen Rider Gaim (2013) - For 2013, this Kamen Rider installment draws inspiration from Sengoku warriors and in this show, the main character Kota Kazuraba, who leads a dance team, wields the power of the Orange Lock Seed and becomes Kamen Rider Gaim. Since this is a Sengoku-themed show, the Riders are riding...horses.

Kamen Rider Drive (2014) - We all know that great Kamen Riders ride bikes but do you ever see a Kamen Rider driving a fast car? This fast and furious installment is all about cars and it's about a former policeman, Shinosuke Tomari, who was destined by the power of the Drive Driver, the sportscar called the Tridoron, and an arsenal of shift cars, along with a little help from the police, to become Kamen Rider Drive as he goes fast and furious in battling against Roidmudes trying to slow humanity down.

Kamen Rider Ghost (2015) - Kamen Rider goes paranormal in this 2015 installment where a young man named Takeru Tenkuji, who got killed after he was attacked by a mysterious Eyecon and in order for Takeru to revive, he must gather 15 Eyecons of history's greats. In his road to resurrection, Takeru's armed with a Ghost Driver as he is ready to save the world against renegade Eyecons as Kamen Rider Ghost.

Kamen Rider EX-AID (2016) - This installment puts on a new spin on tearjerking medical dramas as it combines this with some intense video game action and signature Rider moments. It centers on a pediatrics trainee named Emu Hojo, who is fully devoted to help people in need. He's also a hardcore gamer as well. However, a horde of computer viruses called Bugsters are wrecking havoc in the human world. Armed with a Gamer Driver and a video game called Mighty Action X, the game is on for Kamen Rider EX-AID as Emu tries to balance his life at the hospital and as a Kamen Rider.

Kamen Rider Build (2017) - The 2017 installment translates science into buttkicking action and in this story, a mysterious object from Mars, known as the Pandora Box, triggered a Sky Wall, separating Japan into three different regions. A young genius named Sento Kiryu tries to solve the biggest problem surrounding him while trying to defend the human race against creatures emerging through the walls as Kamen Rider Build. As Build, he can utilize the power of Full Bottles themed after animals and objects and combining them to create a Best Match.

Kamen Rider ZI-O (2018) - This is the 20th and the final Kamen Rider of the Heisei Generations universe and it's all about time travel. In this show, it's about Sogo Tokiwa, an ordinary boy with an extraordinary fate as a mysterious young woman from the future warned him of a terrifying future that could be linked to Sogo himself. Armed with the Ziku Driver and the Ride Watch, Sogo becomes Kamen Rider ZI-O and as ZI-O, he can utilize different Ride Watches themed after Heisei-era Kamen Riders. A fitting tribute to the Heisei Generations universe.

Kamen Rider ZI-O premieres on TV Asahi this Sunday, September 2, at 0900 JST, right after HUGtto Precure. A Nintendo Switch game featuring Heisei-era Kamen Riders, called Kamen Rider Climax Scramble ZI-O, is coming soon, and also, the Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER is coming in theaters this December 22nd.

Consider your summer vacation super because this is a double feature kids wouldn't want to miss out as much as the TV heroes on Sunday mornings and while the films hold connections on the TV shows, this double feature gave them plenty of reasons to enjoy their favorite sentai heroes kicking monster butts in spectacular levels.

In Lupinranger VS Patranger en film, the ongoing rivalry between two sides battling against Ganglars wrecking havoc in the city have attracted the attention of a so-called legendary detective who opposes both sides; the phantom thieves called Lupinrangers and the cops called Patrangers. Just as we thought things couldn't get even messier, it gets worse as the red-colored rival rangers; Lupin Red and Patran #1, ended up in the Ganglars' world. Setting differences aside, the two rivals must work together to get themselves out and get back to what they do best; kicking Ganglars' butts.

In Kamen Rider Build -Be The One-, a sinister group that has ties with the sinister Evolt (formerly Blood Stalk) have brainwashed the entire nation under one command; eliminate Kamen Rider Build. With no one else to turned to except only a few, prodigy Sento Kiryu must fight his way to survive.
