Oscar Piastri leads McLaren's 1-2 finish in Shanghai with Lando Norris finishing 2nd, giving last year's constructor's championship-winning team a lead in the standings. George Russell of Mercedes-AMG, meanwhile, finished 3rd.

Alpine driver Pierre Gasly, and the rest of Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, were disqualified as the cars of Leclerc and Gasly were found to be underweight with Hamilton's car having excessive wear on its skid block.

Hamilton's Sprint effort gone to waste following the disqualification while McLaren's leading the constructor's championship pack with Norris still leading. It's still too early to tell.

The next race will be in Suzuka for the Lenovo Japanese Grand Prix this April 6, 2025.
