- A submarine drone was found by a fisherman in the waters off Brgy. Inawaran, San Pascual in Masbate. The photo of the said device was released by the Philippine National Police Regional Office 5 (PRO5), led by Regional Director PBGen. Andre Dizon. According to Dizon, the drone with the markings “HY 119” was identified as an underwater communication system owned by China.

- It took several hours before firefighters finally declared the fire that broke out in Brgy. Flores, Malabon City at 1:00 a.m. to be "fire under control." A fire destroyed a commercial building called PH Shop, which sells appliances and school supplies.

- Ten were killed and 30 were hurt after a vehicle plowed through a New Orleans crowd.
