- DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla will require local governments to report any suspicious activities in their areas related to illegal POGO operations. Earlier, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. summoned the Department of Interior and Local Government, Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission, and PAGCOR to request an update on his order to close all POGOs in the Philippines.
- A fire destroyed part of the ACT Theater Building in Cubao, Quezon City this morning.
- Kanlaon Volcano triggered two volcanic earthquakes and emitted 7,019 tons of sulfur dioxide flux. According to PHIVOLCS, the volcano is still at Alert Level 3.

- The FIA announced new WRC regulations for the 2027 season.
