From collisions that forced Alex Albon and Yuki Tsunoda out of the race, Max Verstappen suffering bad karma from last week with two 10-second penalties, and Fernando Alonso's 400th race coming to a bittersweet end due to mechanical failures, it really is the most pivotal race of the season.
In the end, Ferrari dominated the podium with Carlos Sainz the winner and Charles Leclerc the third placer. Lando Norris finished in 2nd place and the title fight between him and Verstappen, who finished 6th, is now 47 points between them, Verstappen's 362 vs. Norris' 315.
The next race of the F1 24 season will be the Lenovo Gran Premio de Sao Paulo this November 2, 2024 at Interlagos.
