Following Toyota Gazoo Racing's heartbreak on its home turf, the #6 Porsche Penske Motorsport 963 emerged victorious while BMW and Alpine took podium finishes for the first time on Japanese soil. The #54 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 made its debut win in the LMGT3 class.
