- The Philippines has reported its first new case of mpox, according to the PH Department of Health. According to DOH, the 10th lab-confirmed mpox case is a 33-year-old Filipino maile with no travel history outside the country but with close, intimate contact three weeks before symptom onset.
- Director Jojo Nones, cited for contempt by Sen. Jinggoy Estrada in the Senate Committee on Public Information hearing. Senator Estrada said that Jojo Nones denied that they offered money to be given to a charitable Institution because of the abuse done to Sandro Muhlach. But in the affidavit of Atty.
