- The siphoning of over 5 thousand liters of diesel from the submerged MTKR Jason Bradley at Mariveles, Bataan has commenced. The Philippine Coast Guard is monitoring the ongoing "seawater siphoning" to save the sunken tanker in the waters of Bataan.

- The Department of National Defense and the Armed Forces of the Philippines are expected to follow China's recent harassment in the airspace.

- The NCRPO ensured justice in the Percy Lapid slay case even though a suspect committed suicide.

- Meralco will implement a 0.0327 peso electricity surcharge this August.
