- COMELEC receives "unmodified opinion" from the Commission on Audit. Unmodified opinions provide a reasonable level of assurance from the auditor that the financial statements present a true and fair reflection of an entity's results for the period reported.
- The next Senate hearing regarding the POGO issue is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10th. Senator Win Gatchalian hopes that "Alice Guo" will show up and reveal the instigators and protectors of the raided POGOs. Gatchalian recently confirmed that Alice Guo's brother is a Chinese national named Guo Xiang Dian.
