- PH Vice President Sara Duterte released a statement about her personal trip with her family overseas when Typhoon Carina struck the country. "The timing of the trip coinciding with Typhoon Carina is unfortunate," her statement says.

- Typhoon Carina has left the Philippine Area Responsibility and landed in Taiwan. 21 people died as a result of the typhoon and the habagat.

- An oil spill was spotted from a sunken motor tanker loaded with 1.4m liters of oil in Limay, Bataan.

- US President Joe Biden made his first public appearance since dropping out from the 2024 presidential race. Biden says he ended his re-election bid to “unite my party” and in “defense of democracy”.

- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the US Congress over the ongoing Gaza offensive campaign. He called the protesters outside "Iran's useful idiots".

- Eluned Morgan became the first Welsh Labour Party leader and set to become Wales' next first minister.

- Police say they are assessing footage appearing to show an officer kicking and stamping on a man's head on the ground at Manchester Airport.

- Ferrari will accept cryptocurrency payments in Europe by the end of July and in overseas by the end of 2024.

- Tesla will unveil new models in the first half of 2025. It will unveil its robotaxi this October 10 while construction of its Gigafactory Mexico will be put on hold due to political reasons.

- VOs worldwide pay respects to the late seiyuu Noriko Ohara, who passed away at 88. Ohara is well-known as the voice of Doraemon's Nobita from 1979 to 2005.

- ADOR's Min Hee Jin files a defamation lawsuit against five HYBE execs. HYBE denies Min Hee Jin's claims and will file a counter-lawsuit for false accusations.
