The city of Townsville witnessed some Supercars mayhem as the 2024 season continues with the NTI Townsville 500.

In the first race, Cam Waters overtook Chaz Mostert for the win and Will Brown climbed from 13th to 3rd. But the biggest surprise came in the final race when Matt Payne took home the trophy. It's the seventh different winner of the season. With Will Brown's crash in the final race, the race for the championship is now wide open with Brown leading by just 78 points over second place Broc Feeney.
The next event will be the Panasonic Air Conditioning Sydney SuperNight this July 18-21.
