- A Philippine Navy frigate conducted a routine patrol operation in Bajo de Masinloc in the West Philippine Sea, prompting China to deploy its naval and aerial forces.

- Senator Bong Go tells newly-elected barangay and SK officials to ‘prioritize welfare of constituents, uplift lives of the poor’

- Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is expected to visit the Philippines this November. Kishida will be in the country from November 3 to 4—nine months after he and Marcos also met in Japan for the latter's official visit.

- A DFA official said the Philippines didn't expect the war between Israel and Hamas "would take this long". Over a week ago, the dozens of Filipinos in the Palestinian territory who sought repatriation were expected to be able to cross into Egypt already. But until now, they are still there.

- Boxer Oleksander Usyk strongly believed that his fight against Tyson Fury would go ahead this December 23 in Riyadh, amid Fury's controversial victory against Francis Ngannou last weekend despite Fury getting knocked down twice.
