The Voltes V Legacy finale

Voltes V Legacy, the Philippine live-action drama adaptation of the classic Japanese anime series, Voltes V, brought a new perspective to a legendary story of good versus evil. It's about the Armstrong brothers; Steve, Big Bert, and Little John, as well as their human allies Mark Gordon and Jamie Robinson, who join forces as the Voltes team, protecting Earth from the Bozanian invaders while discovering who they really are.

Throughout their never-ending battle between good versus evil, the Voltes team brought justice to the ones they've lost while finding clues for Hrothgar/Ned Armstrong's whereabouts. As the Bozanian empire, under the thumb of Emperor Zambojil and Prince Zardoz, getting desperate to eradicate Voltes V, the Camp Big Falcon team joined forces with the Bozanian rebels in the hopes of bringing Zambojil's reign of terror to a complete end.

With the entire Bozanian empire liberated, Ned faces off against the Emperor while the entire Voltes team battles against Prince Zardoz's last resort; the Bozanian god of war Godor.

In the finale, as Ned finished off the Emperor with Voltes V vanquished Godor for good, Steve is locked in the decisive battle against Prince Zardoz. As Steve faces the jaws of defeat, Ned appears to interrupt the fight, revealing to the two mortal enemies that they are brothers. Brothers who bear their father's bloodline.

As Zardoz can't accept the real truth, Emperor Zambojil, the one Hrothgar/Ned Armstrong thought he killed earlier, appears, triggering a powerful explosive. With Zardoz knew the truth, he killed the Emperor by throwing the dagger at him. Thanks to OCTO-1's force field, everybody was safe from the explosion but Steve was hurt and Zardoz died in the blast. 

Moments after the final battle, Hrothgar or Ned Armstrong reclaimed his rule as the emperor of the Bozanian empire, and peace was restored. The Armstrong brothers and the entire Voltes team bid farewell to Ned as they return to Earth.

Back on Earth, Mark concedes to Steve over Jamie and decides to live on his own goodwill.

This concludes Voltes V Legacy, the Philippine live-action drama adaptation of the classic Japanese anime series that brought a new perspective to the lives of the five young pilots risking their lives battling the forces of evil. It was one helluva ride from start to finish and it really is Voltes V like no one saw it before.
