The two-part Iowa weekend of the NTT IndyCar Series 2023 concludes with the Hy-Vee One Step 250 and having learned their lessons from the previous Iowa fight, looks like the drivers are going full force to end this Iowa weekend by all means.
As the green flag waved, the final part of the Iowa IndyCar weekend is on with Will Power leading while the others behind him are going all out. Come Lap 31, Newgarden slips through two places and snatched the lead. Such a bold move for yesterday's winner. However, in Lap 88, the first caution of the race is triggered when an Argentinian rookie Agustin Canapino collided with the wall.
As the race restarted on Lap 107, with Newgarden leading, Scott McLaughlin came out of nowhere and snatched Newgarden's lead. However, come Lap 157, Sting Ray Robb lost a tire and another caution is out.
Come Lap 189, as the race restarted, Newgarden leads but with 11 laps to go, Ryan Hunter-Reay smacked the wall.
