The 2023 NTT IndyCar Series goes up north to the streets of Toronto, Canada, for the Honda Indy Toronto street race.
As the green flag waved, the most intense street racing action up north has begun with Christian Lundgaard on the pole but the opener saw a multi-car incident that ground a few on a halt. As the race restarts on Lap 10, Lungaard is still leading the race but the drivers are catching up. As Lungaard went to the pits, Lap 20 saw Scott McLaughlin on the lead while Pato O'Ward is catching up. As Lungaard surges back to the lead, from McLaughlin, Lap 42 saw Romain Grosjean crash to the wall.
Halfway through the race Lap 46 saw Helio Castroneves tripped on the last corner and as the race restarts on Lap 52, McLaughlin leads while the drivers are on a daring catch-up marathon. In Lap 61, Scott Dixon leads while McLaughlin enters the pits, only to be overtaken by Lundgaard a lap later.
