The 2023 NTT IndyCar Series continues with the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio, one of the most intense races that happened on the 4th of July long weekend.
As the green flag waved, the action in Mid-Ohio is underway with an opening chaos for Marcus Ericsson and Felix Rosenqvist as the two Swedes were involved in a fender-bender, triggering a caution. The race restarts at Lap 6 with Colton Herta leading. On Lap 29, just as Graham Rahal exited the pits, Colton Herta swoops through Rahal for P6 while Alex Palou zaps his way to first after leaving the pits in P3 a lap later.
Come Lap 55, Herta sadly got slapped with a penalty, while Lap 57 saw drama at the pits for Graham Rahal. The rest is a long story short.
