- The SCOTUS blocked the Biden administration's student loan forgiveness plans, putting a blow to one of the US President's campaign promises. The ruling happened moments after they overturned race-based college admissions.
- The trial of actor Kevin Spacey is underway in London. Spacey is facing 12 counts of sexual assault against four men - which he denies. In their opening statement, the prosecution claimed Spacey is a "sexual bully" and a "man who does not respect personal boundaries or space, a man who it would seem delights in making others feel powerless and uncomfortable." The trial is expected to last between three and four weeks.
- Two people were killed after a man opened fire at Moldova's Chisinau airport, according to the country's interior ministry.
- Jeremy Clarkson's column in The Sun about Meghan Markle was described as sexist, according to a UK press watchdog. A record 25K people complained to IPSO about the article.
- According to reports, several W Series drivers, including three-time champion Jamie Chadwick, haven't received their prize money due to financial problems.
