The 11th season of the FIA World Endurance Championship continues in Monza for the 6 Hours of Monza event and this race means payback from Toyota Gazoo Racing as they're going to hit Ferrari at its home turf following their Le Mans heartbreak caused by the Scuderia.
They say revenge is a dish best served cold and Toyota got their revenge at Ferrari's home turf. The #7 GR010 defeated the #50 499P to become the winner of the 6 Hours of Monza endurance race. The #28 JOTA won the LMP2 class and the #77 Dempsey-Proton Racing Porsche 911 RSR -19 for the LM GTE AM.
The #33 Corvette Racing of Nicolas Varrone, Nicky Catsburg, and Ben Keating headlined as the champion of the LM GTE AM class, another milestone in the history of the Corvette.
The FIA WEC S11 continues with the 6 Hours of Fuji this September 10.
