From pole position to victory, Max Verstappen made headlines as he defeated Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc for a five-win streak for the two-time world champion. Sergio Perez completes the podium with a third-place finish.
This race saw many drivers slapped with a penalty over track limits from Carlos Sainz, Lewis Hamilton, Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, and Logan Sargeant. What's even worse is the on-track disasters for Yuki Tsunoda on the opening lap as well as Oscar Piastri and Nico Hulkenberg's surrender due to power loss.
After the Austrian Grand Prix, Verstappen's dominance continues with 229 points while Sergio Perez is in 2nd place with 148 points.
The next race of the F1 2023 season will be at Silverstone for the Aramco British Grand Prix this July 9th.
