The third season of Extreme E continues in Sardinia, Italy, for the Island X Prix, and things get even more interesting because Lia Block, the daughter of the late Ken Block, has joined the Carl Cox Motorsports bandwagon.
Hoonigan bloodline aside, it's a do-or-die tag-team clash in the Italian wilderness as the fight for the championship continues.

Team RXR made headlines in Italy after sweeping through the entire race weekend, giving themselves a four-point gap behind the Acciona Sainz XE team, which is currently leading the standings. The first part saw RXR beating the likes of Acciona Sainz and Chip Ganassi Racing while the second part saw them beating the points leaders and the Andretti team. This could spark a new kind of rivalry in Extreme E this season.
The next event will be in the Americas this September 16-17. The name of the XPrix remains unknown for now and the venue is still hasn't set in stone yet. Stay tuned for details.
