From the long line of dolls little girls of all ages played, the world of Barbie comes to life in this live-action movie adaptation and having generated so much hype thanks to the so-called meme it made since its announcement, the world's gone pink with the Barbie movie and it's time to party.

Starring Margot Robbie as the iconic doll Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, the world of Barbie comes to life in this live-movie adaptation where viewers enter Barbie Land, a place where every day is the best day ever, but for Barbie, her best day ever went under because...let's say she's starting to stand up on her own, something that a Barbie doll can't do. With that, Barbie and Ken set off on an adventure away from Barbie Land and into the real world.

Packed with witty humor, musical numbers, and overall girl power, no other words can describe the hype caused by the Barbie movie. In fact, this movie is everything, just like Barbie...or perhaps anybody can be like Barbie...or Ken.

Anyway, like the meme it triggered since its announcement, this movie is just like every other toy-based movie like Transformers and LEGO, but because this is a girls' content movie, it's anyone's guess after all, not to mention the fact that the folks from General Motors contributed to this film by featuring Barbie's electric C1 Corvette, Ken's Hummer EV, and of course while getting stuck in the real world, a Chevrolet Blazer EV SS.

Call it plastic but this movie is fantastic. This is probably one of the must-watch movies in the summer season and like Barbie herself, it's everything...or Ken.
