Richmond is the next stop for the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series with the Cook Out 400 and as the summer weather gets hotter, the fight for the playoffs gets even hotter.
As the green flag waved, the summer racing action in Richmond has begun with the first stage saw Tyler Reddick leading the field with blitzing results until Tyler Reddick grabs the lead and makes it all the way to the end of Stage 1. As Tyler Reddick wins Stage 1, Stage 2 saw Christopher Bell and Todd Gilliand going to the pits too fast while Alex Bowman fends off Kyle Larson for the free pass position. As Brad Keselowski wins Stage 2, the final stage saw the drama unfold with Daniel Suarez spinning at turn four after contact from Noah Gragson.
