The 2023 NTT IndyCar Series continues with the Sonsio Grand Prix at Road America. What a way to celebrate Father's Day with a dramatic 55-lap battle royale in Wisconsin.
As the green flag waved, the 55-lap action in Road America is underway with the opening laps seeing Newgard and Lundgaard get involved in a slightly messy contact but the #45 recovers to the track while Felix Rosenqvist got nudged and Romain Grosjean went out of bounds. Rinus Veekay and rookie driver Marcus Armstrong got penalized for unsafe release at the pits. Halfway through the race, Alex Palou storms into the lead and stayed that way.
