- Philippine President Bongbong Marcos urged the MARINA and CHED to cooperate with the shipping industry for the re-skilling of Filipino seafarers.

- According to PHIVOLCS, the Mayon Volcano has recorded 102 volcanic earthquakes over the past 24 hours. Alert Level 3 is still in place.

- Six officials from Fujifilm Philippines are facing arrest by the order of Pasig Regional Trial Court Branch 268 for estafa charges.

- Oriental Mindoro Governor Bonz Dolor announced the lifting of the fishing ban in Naujan and Pinamalayan but the ban is still in place in the town of Pola.

- The leader of the Wagner Mercenary Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has agreed for the entire mercenary group to leave Russia "to avoid bloodshed" and he will exile to Belarus.

- A major suspect in the Stephen Lawrence murder case was made public according to reports by the BBC. The suspect was identified as Matthew White, who died in 2021, aged 50.

- The FIA has unveiled a new ESV ruleset for fully electric race cars. The ruleset is open for both RWD and AWD vehicles with a stipulated output of 300kW while the bodywork shape must be "fundamentally unchanged" with exceptions given to extending wheel arches in order to accommodate wider racing wheels and tires, along with additional cooling ducts. Selected body panels may be replaced with lightweight materials.

- Robin Shute was named "King of the Mountain" at the 2023 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb for the fourth time in five years after setting a time of 8:40.080.

FIFTY FIFTY’s agency ATTRAKT named Warner Music Korea as the "external force" allegedly trying to poach members. WMK responds to allegations made by the said agency.

- Connecticut Sun's Alyssa Thomas has set a WNBA record with 4th regular-season triple-double. Thomas had 14 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists in the Sun's 96-72 victory over the Chicago Sky at Mohegan Sun Arena. She had 13 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists Tuesday in the Sun's 85-79 road win against the Seattle Storm. That five-day span is the shortest between triple-doubles by one player in league history.

- Yin Ruoning wins the Women's PGA Championship, making her the second woman from China to win a major championship.

- Team USA wins the World Aquatics Women's Water Polo World Cup 2023.

- Latto, BeyoncĂ©, Coco Jones, Teyana “Spike Tey” Taylor, and Burna Boy were among the winners of the 2023 BET Awards.

- Actor and Agimat Party-list representative Bryan Revilla apologizes to the public after his sports car caught fire at EDSA.
