The close-call first part saw the Porsche driver Pascal Wehrlein trump the Andretti driver Jake Dennis while Maximilian Guenther finished 3rd. In the final part that saw a collision that dropped David Beckmann out of the race followed by a risky move that cost Nick Cassidy's championship lead, it's payback time as Maximillian Guenther scored a victory in Jakarta followed by Jake Dennis and Jaguar's Mitch Evans.
After Jakarta, Pascal Wehrlein's at the top of the standings with 134 points, a point ahead of Jake Dennis while Nick Cassidy's in third with 128 points.
The next race is another Formula E first, the Portland ePrix on June 24th.
