Nashville's in for a hot summer night with the Ally 400 race of the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series, a real scorcher of a race in the already blazing hot summer season underway.
As the green flag waved, the Nashville showdown is a go as the sun sets in the state of Tennessee. In the first stage, Kyle Busch pitted earlier due to minor setbacks while Tyler Reddick snatched Ross Chastain's lead. As Tyler Reddick wins Stage 1, Stage 2 saw three-wide battles and a spin by Tyler Reddick at the pits. Worse, Ryan Blaney's day in Nashville ended in a crash. As Denny Hamlin wins Stage 2, the final stage means a comeback for Chastain.
