- TikTok was fined 12.7 million GBP after failing to use children's personal data lawfully, according to UK's information watchdog, the Information Commissioner's Office.

- Finland hands over an accession document to officially become a member state of NATO.

- Donald Trump pleads not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records in hush money case. Trump returned to Florida immediately after, where he told supporters the case was "an insult to our country". Trump's camp has until August to file any motions against the case. The next court hearing is set for December.

- BBC's Doctor Who TV series casts RuPaul's Drag Race winner Jinkx as a new character.

- Actress Judy Farrell has passed away at the age of 84. Farrell played Nurse Able in the comedy series M*A*S*H.

- Actress Ruffa Gutierrez lost her labor case filed by her former kasambahay and she's set to pay damages to the Department of Labor and Employment.
