- Mattel released a new Barbie doll that has Down syndrome. Mattel cooperated with the National Down Syndrome Society for an accurate representation of a new Barbie doll for people with Down syndrome.

- A former WWE writer has filed a lawsuit against the company for alleged racial discrimination. Britney Abrahams was fired by the company last year in retaliation for pushing back against racism as well as racist and stereotypical pitches in the writers' room, according to court documents.
