- The SIM Registration deadline has been extended for 90 days, according to reports citing Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, after telcos appealed for its extension. The deadline was extended for another 90 days, a day before the original April 26 deadline. Under the SIM Registration Law, the DICT can extend the registration period for 120 more days.

- According to PH President Bongbong Marcos, the government mulls returning the summer vacation to March despite the end of COVID lockdowns and most schools have returned to face-to-face classes.

- According to the Land Transportation Office, the validity of driver's licenses set to expire this month has been expanded, meaning license holders are not required to renew their licenses until the end of October.

- The Armed Forces of the Philippines said that the number of EDCA sites across the Philippines will possibly expand to ensure the defense of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.

- Controversial news anchor Tucker Carlson has left FOX News, days after the broadcaster paid $787.5m to settle a legal case.

- The CBI, UK's biggest business group, has admitted it hired "culturally toxic" staff and failed to fire people who sexually harassed female colleagues. The embattled lobby group began firing numerous people.

- McLaren will unveil a new supercar tomorrow.

- The Jeep Wrangler lineup was improved for the 2024 model year.


- The New Orleans police issued an arrest warrant against former UFC fighter Nate Diaz on suspicion of second-degree battery. Diaz was involved in a brawl last week on Bourbon Street following a Misfits boxing card in the city.

- Succession actor Brian Cox will play as The Controller in the upcoming 007 game show coming to Amazon Prime Video this year.

- Former Strictly Come Dancing head judge Len Goodman has passed away at the age of 78.
