- The transport strike has ended after two days following the dialogue between transport group PISTON and the Malacanang. All jeeps are back on the road today.

- The Bureau of the Treasury says that the national debt of the Philippines has reached 13.7 trillion pesos.

- The Philippine Coast Guard warns that the cleanup of the Mindoro oil spill may take some time as the submerged tanker is now 300 meters deep.

- Negros Oriental 3rd district representative Arnulfo Teves was charged with murder following the killing in 2019.

- Ukraine denies the reported link to the sinking of the Nord Stream pipeline.

- Protesters have clashed with police in the Georgian capital Tbilisi after the parliament backed a controversial draft law that critics say it limits press freedom and suppresses civil society. Georgia's "foreign agent" bill was met with widespread condemnation and the opposition described it as a Russian-style law.

- Disney announced a new reality show coming to Disney+ this April 12. It's titled Rennervations and it's hosted by Jeremy Renner as he and his celebrity friends are restoring vehicles and communities. The new series was filmed before Jeremy Renner's New Year snowplow accident.
