- The NCRPO will deploy 4,690 police officers all over Metro Manila as it expects an exodus amid the Holy Week and the upcoming summer break.
- The US FDA has classified the recall of heart devices by Getinge as most serious, saying their use may cause injuries or death. Datascope recalled an estimated 2,300 devices in the US in January. According to the FDA, the coiled cables connecting the display and base on some devices of the company may fail, causing an unexpected shutdown.
- Over 175,000 patient appointments and procedures had to be canceled in England following a strike by junior doctors, making it the most disruptive NHS strike yet this winter. Tens of thousands of medics took part in the 72-hour walkout, which began on Monday, with most senior colleagues asked to cover.
- The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant against Russian president Vladimir Putin for his war crimes in Ukraine, including the deportation of Ukrainian children.
