- The Malacanang denied reports that former DILG Secretary Mar Roxas will be the next agriculture secretary.

- The remains of the slain Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo have officially been buried.

- Paris authorities have clashed with protesters following the Macron administration's decision to force pension reforms without a parliamentary vote. Protesters have been gathered on Place de la Concorde in response to raising the retirement age to 64.

- The United Kingdom has banned TikTok on government-run phones.

- Poland became the first NATO member country to send fighter jets to Ukraine.

- A group of big US banks has injected 30 billion dollars of financial aid into the smaller regional bank First Republic Bank, which is facing a risk of being shut down following the closure of Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank.

- According to the UN Office on Drugs and Crimes, production of cocaine worldwide has jumped to 35% from 2021 to 2022, the highest since 2016. Europe and the Americas are the main markets of cocaine and it has a very high potential for Asian expansion.

- The Mercedes-Benz GLA and GLB range has been given a minor change for the 2024 model year.
