- The PH Department of Justice prosecutors have indicted suspended BuCor chief Gerald Bantag and several others for two counts of murder over the killing of radio broadcaster Percy Lapid and alleged middleman Jun Villamor.

- The six bodies found at the Cessna crash site in Isabela have arrived at Cauayan City.

- An expert warns that the oil spill from the submerged tanker in Mindoro may reach Puerto Galera, Batangas. Right now, the submerged tanker had no permit to operate, according to a MARINA official before the Senate Committee on the environment and natural resources.
