The third season of Extreme E saw a paradigm shift in the world's first all-electric extreme offroad racing series. Aside from the welcoming addition to the new Carl Cox Motorsport team, the third season saw all races become two-parters, making it twice the action and twice the dirt they can throw.
The third season kicked off at Neom, Saudi Arabia, for the Desert X Prix, and because all races in season three are two-parters, this is one of them.

In the first part, RXR's victory got stripped off to third place after being slapped with a 136-second penalty for speeding in the Slow Zone, meaning Veloce Racing scored their first win of the season while Acciona | Sainz XE got bumped to 2nd place.
In the final part, meanwhile, the Acciona | Sainz XE team scored their first win after defeating Veloce Racing and RXR.
The next event will be in Scotland for the Hydro X Prix this May 13-14.
