- A military aircraft has crashed through the fields in Pilar, Bataan. According to the Civil Aviation Authority, the plane was heading back to Sangley from Orion but it couldn't return back when it crashed.

- Sales of SIM cards in the Philippines have fallen drastically due to the implementation of the mandatory SIM card registration law.

- German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is due to appear before the parliamentary committee in Berlin. Reports say Scholz is expected to approve the export of battle tanks to Ukraine.

- Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky said the measures he's taken against corruption are essential for the country's defense. Zelensky fired top officials accused of corruption.

- The United States is suing Google, accusing the tech giant of harming competition with its dominance of the online advertising market. Google has denied the monopoly.

- Jacinta Ardern has formally stepped down as prime minister of New Zealand and her successor Chris Hipkins has been sworn in.

- Former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo claimed in his new book that India and Pakistan came close to a nuclear war in 2019 and the US intervention averted the escalation.

- Twitter bows to India's request to censor links to BBC's Narendra Modi documentary. The Elon Musk-owned social media giant has removed all links to videos from a documentary exploring allegations against Modi.

- The proposed merger between Fox and News Corp is dead after Rupert Murdoch sent a letter to the boards of the companies withdrawing his proposal.

- The Polestar 2 has been given a minor change for the 2024 model year, featuring a new front design, RWD variants for the first time in a Polestar vehicle, SmartZone active safety, and up to 635km of range.

- The BMW M3 CS was unveiled. It's a lighter and more powerful version of the G80 M3 featuring an uprated 3.0L twin-turbo engine producing 550PS of power. Mated to an 8-speed M Steptronic gearbox and M xDrive all-wheel-drive system, it does 0-100kph in 4.4 seconds and 302kph of top speed.
