The ninth season of the ABB FIA Formula E world championship continues at Diriyah, Saudi Arabia with an epic two-part night race where the Gen 3 machines shine through the Arabian darkness, whatever it takes.
In the first race, as the lights went off, the race kicked off with Sam Bird pulling some bold moves against Sebastien Buemi and managing to stay in the lead during halftime until Pascal Wehrlein made a surprise move against Bird for the lead. In the end, Pascal Wehrlein nicked his first win of the season while Jake Dennis finished 2nd and Sam Bird finished 3rd.
In the second race, as the lights went off, the race kicked off with pole sitter Jake Hughes getting overtaken by Mitch Evans on the first corner, with Rene Rast turning the tables between them. As the race hits its halfway point, Pascal Wehrlein is leading the race while Jake Dennis tries to hunt the leader until Nico Mueller's incident triggered a safety car.
