Your daily round-up of today's news:
- Two new reports have highlighted the extent of global warming and how difficult it would be to limit temperatures to 1.5 degrees Celsius. Sweden says average temperatures there are now already close to two degrees high than in the late 19th century. Australia says its country is now 1.5 degrees warmer than a century ago.
- Up to ten people were reported dead in the US state of Virginia when a gunman attacked a Walmart store before killing himself.
- Survivors of the West Java quake have appealed for food and water. The calls come as the country's experiencing aftershocks and heavy rains forecasted for the weekend could worsen conditions. The death toll from the quake is over 250 people but 150 more are still missing.
- Mazda announced its three-phase plan to invest in electrification. Beginning from 2025 to 2027, Mazda will begin its transition to electrification and from 2028 to 2030, a full-scale launch of electric vehicles is planned.
- The Abarth 500e was unveiled. Based on the new Fiat 500e, the new model features a 155PS electric motor that is good for 320km of driving range. It's the first electric compact to feature a Sound Generator. It will be offered in a limited-run Scorpionissima edition with only 1,949 units will be made.
- BTS song Dynamite smashed the YouTube record for the fastest K-Pop group music video to hit 1.6 billion views.
- The Glazer family says they're open to selling Manchester United. The Glazers completed Manchester United's takeover in 2005 but have faced fierce opposition to their ownership from supporters.
- Mariel Rodriguez, Ruffa Guiterrez, and Ciara Sotto will host a morning variety talk show called M.O.M.s (Mhies On A Mission) on ALLTV, airing this November 28th.
