- US Republicans have won 218 seats to control the House of Representatives following the midterm elections and Kevin McCarthy was named House Speaker. 

- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reiterated that the missile strike that killed two people in Poland was not caused by Ukrainian air defense.

- Brazilian President-Elect Luis Inacio Lula da Silva told the COP27 summit that fighting the Amazon deforestation and climate change is his top priority.

- The US Justice Department has charged two Russians with copyright piracy, fraud, and money laundering for running the Z-Library website which offered free downloads of millions of books.

- Malta changes the law to allow doctors to terminate a pregnancy if a mother's life is at risk.

- The Porsche 911 Dakar was unveiled. Limited to 2,500 units, this offroad-focused 911 is powered by a 3.0L twin-turbo flat-six engine with 480PS of power and 570Nm of torque while matted to an 8-speed PDK. Capable of a 0-100kph time of 3.4 seconds and a 240kph top speed.

- Lucid teases the Gravity electric crossover ahead of its 2024 launch.

- Kadokawa announced a new Gamera project coming soon to Netflix.
